1、 A Beautiful Mind Review I am distressed to watch this film.I cant imagine that how John can live with these “shadow” in his mind.I cant imagine that what should a person do with a following ones who tell orders and control ones life. I cant imagine that a couple can be inseparable confronting great

2、 diffcuilt and poveotry never give up. I also cant imagine how they can shrug and turn back indifferetly,but never say goodbye to the past. I have to admit that I am just moved when I firstly watched this film,but when I watched it for the second and third times.I find that John is a very confident,

3、dissocial,heurotic,sensitive and seriousminded.As the saying goes:Scientists on the top must have an uncommon dissocial brain.It is the reason why John go mad.He is so lonely that he needs to imagine some people who can understand him and supply him supports. But as John tells his students:“Eager yo

4、ung minds of tomorrow.”He has his own lust which he falls in and he cant break away from.His lust is knowledge,success,approhation and matter.As he himself has said he needs to look through the governing dynamics,find a truly orginal ever distinguish himself.Its the only way that he will ever matter

5、.He do not care about wether other schoolboys have already published.he is so confident that he think classes will dull peoples mind,destory the potential for authentic creativing. Even when they need him come back hospital again,he also tell doctor with confidence:“I solve problem,that is what l do

6、 best.All l have to do is apply my mind.”l have to admit l adare Johns this kind of nature.But he do not know it is lust that leads him to go mad,and he must spend his whole life to solve the problem from his sensitive heart.l believe nobody can suppose that the result of lust is so heavy that John

7、cant stand.So he needs friends and this is the reason why Charles、Parcher、Marcee appear.In this hallucination,John has two best friends called Charles and Marcee.He also becomes an hero because of Parcher.Besides,he also has a beauitful and wise wife in fact.How wonderful world he has,but someday he

8、 is sent to hospital and he has went mad.Friend, and finds that hero are just in his mind. He refuses to believe that these who drink with him,ecourage him,cheer with him are not real.They even dont exist for one second.He cant stand this losing from happiness.We can imagine that if when we are told

9、 that we always believe never exsit,what should we do to keep the value of our lives.God gives John two choicesFirst one is to proves all these people and things are real, he do not go mad and he is a real genius.Second is to admit himself is just an average person who just is alive. He chooses the

10、second,not because of his lust but his love from his friends especially his wife,Alicia,a great wife(each of them has a beautiful mind).It is her that brings luck to john,as Bendar said:”John is a very lucky man.”After Johns going out from hospital,Alicia sends their child to her mothers home so tha

11、t she can make more money and take care of John.l think it is diffcult for a woman to face all these when her husband cant offer any help.Alicia has said:“l think often what l feel is obligation or guilt over wanting to leave .Rage against John.against God.But then look at him and force myself to se

12、e the man that l married and he becomes that man.he is transformed into someone that l love and l transformed into some who loves him.lts not all the time,but its enough.”this is how Alicia faces the truthfacing everything with her beautiful mind.If you didnt watch this film,when Johns illness becom

13、eds more serious(because he stops taking medicine ),the doctor asks John to go back hospital and he thinks it is dangerous to the others around,can you guess the reason why John stop taking medicine?l am shocked by Johns answer“Because l cant do my work, l cant help with the baby,and l cant respond

14、to my wife.”Besedes,John refuses to go back hospital and he afraids he cant go back home.Facing husbands hope,Alicia decides to stay together with John at home no matter what had happen. She gives John great support both materially and spiritually.She tells John:”do you want to know what is real?” S

15、he puts her hand on herself face and says : “this(Alicias face),this(Johns face).This (her heart),these(both of their heart)are real.maybe the part that knows the waking from the dream.Mayber it is not here(brain),Mayber it is here (heart).l need to believe that something extraodinary is possible.”P

16、ersonally,l think Alicia is the greatest gift from God for John.John has always believed in numbers,in the equations and logics that lead to reason. But after a life of such pursuits,what truly is logic who decides reasons.Johns quest has taken John through the physical,the metaphysical,the delusion

17、al,and back.As John say in his speech :“l has made the most important discovery of my career,the most importand discovery of my life.It is only in the mysterious equation of love that only logical reasons can be found.” What leads John to success and happiness.l believe it is love from Alicia,Martin

18、,Hensen who give him help,encouragenment and warm to John.lt is them and John himself who give John a wonderful life with a bridge to beautiful minds After watching this film,l feel that l am so pimping compared with Alicia and John. They are brave and unself.Now,l can remember my dream when l was child.l wanted to be a great pait
