A task is an activity which the target language is used by the learner for a communicative purpose (goal) in order to achieve an outcome.,Task-Based Learning,任务型学习(task-based learning)我国基础教育新英语课程标准在其基本教学理念中“倡导任务型的教学模式,让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作

2、等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功. 在口头语言中使用副语言或身势语,在书面语言中合理运用文本的图问设计等。,Three main stages of task,The first is the pre-task stage, during which the teacher introduces and defines the topic and the learners engage in activities that either help them to recall words and phrases that will be useful during the performanc

3、e of the main task or to learn new words and phrases that are essential to the task.,The second is the learners perform the task (typically a reading or listening exercise or a problem-solving exercise) in pairs or small groups. The third is the learners prepare a report for the whole class on how t

4、hey did the task and what conclusions they reached. Finally, they present their findings to the class in spoken or written form .,Advantage of Task-Based learning,TBL is advantageous to the student because it is more student-centered. Although the teacher may present language in the pre-task, the st

5、udents are free to use what they want. This allows them to use all the language they know and are learning, rather than a single construct.,Disadvantages of TBL,task-based learning is not appropriate as the foundation of a class for beginning students. students are exposed to certain forms of langua
