10、meet together to explore possibilities for working togetherIAQG StructureThe IAQG is a cooperative organizationof the global aerospace industry.Itsprocesses are established in a set of agreed, documented, operational procedures, including a charteringdocument.The IAQG is not a legalentity.It is the

11、responsibility ofindividual companies to implement such agreed common procedures.IAQG PurposeEstablish and maintain a dynamic cooperation based on trust between international aerospace companies on initiatives to make significant improvements in quality and reductions in cost throughout the value st

12、ream.Initial focus is to continuously improve the processes used by the supply chain to deliver consistently high quality products, thereby reducing non - value added activities and costs.IAQG Objectives Establish commonality of quality standards and requirements for suppliers. (e.g. common aerospac

13、e basic quality systems, best practices in aerospace industry, supplier performance metrics). Establish process of continuous improvement at suppliers (e.g. Industry expectations, lean manufacturing, supplier performance metrics). Establish methods to share results (Audits, inspections, supplier per

14、formance). Establish implementation plans which bring the initiative to life (e.g. obtain regulatory concurrence).IASG Significant Achievement!AS9100/EN9100Final Draft produced 9 June 1999-Madrid Final Approval in USA is imminentWill exist as a common US/European Standard with co-designation; design

15、ation also appropriate for Japanese numberingIncludes all requirements for Boeing Company to approve as basic standard: (2nd “bell-weather organization in USA)AS9100/EN9100Fully incorporates ISO 9001:1994Intended to satisfy all US and European Aerospace OEM quality requirements for Quality SystemsAS
