7、0002REV.01.0SCOPEThis specification specified the piping materials and material minimum requirements to be used on facility of BZ34-1 OIL FIELD DEVELOPMENT ADJUSTING BZ34-1 WHPF platform which is the west block of BZ34-1 oil fieldThe Contractor/Vendor shall ensure that all materials, equipment and s

8、ervices supplied meet the requirements of this specification and of the codes, standards and specifications nominated herein, whether the equipment or services are supplied by Contractor/Vendor directly or by a sub-contractor.2.0CODES AND STANDARDSThe contractor shall consider the most recent issue

If any conflict occurred between these specifications and the specification BD-SPC-WHPF-PI-0001, or between the reference specifications and codes & standards, notes shall be submitted to the Client for solution.4.0GENERAL REQUIREM

13、ENTSContractor shall show detail description for all components require and purchase in the project. 26、MENTSFor carbon steel material except API materials, maximum carbon content shall be 0.25 and maximum carbon equivalent (CE) shall be 0.43 except API 5L. Where,CE=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15.For API 5L materials, the maximum carbon equivalent for CEIIW(C0.12) is 0.42, for CEP cm(C0.12) is 0.22.The

27、 lowest grade of stainless steel for pressure containing body materials exposed to sea environment is grade 316 S.S, where 304S.S series and lower grades shall not be used.Asbestos should not be used,if be used should get authentication.All material shall be new and the interior and exterior surface

28、 shall be free of dirt, sand, debris and excessive rust.Ferrite content shall be 35-55 in accordance with ASTM E562 for all duplex stainless steel.All duplex stainless steel material shall have a minimum pitting resistance equivalent number (PREN) of 35, calculated as per the following equation:PREN

29、=Cr+3.3Mo+16NAll piping material shall be heat treated in accordance with the applicable standard requirements or if specified in special technical specifications.Post weld heat treatment (PWHT) shall be done in accordance with the material groupings and thickness range in Table 331.1.1 of ASME B31.

43、PF-Pl-0001.6.2FITTINGS REQUIREMENTSFitting material selection and identification shall be accomplished with the selection of a piping specification.6.3TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE RANGESThe rated conditions for a piping specification are generally based on the pressure ratings of the included flanges (p

44、ressure Class and material) for a desired temperature range. The rated conditions will equal or exceed the design conditions for any piping service which utilizes the specification. Specification condition ranges are selected to utilize a material group without significantly increasing the cost of t

45、he components for any application. Flange pressure ratings are extracted from ASME B16.5 /A SME B16.47 for 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500 class systems. For the pressure rating of 3000 and 5000 Psi, API 6A should be followed.For service design conditions, Maximum temperatures for any specificatio

46、n will be selected to at least equal the highest design temperature expected for a service utilizing the material group.6.4BOLTINGBolting materials specified for all piping specifications are according to applicable standards and design temperature ranges. Bolting material ratings are based on un-in

47、sulated Connections.Bolt dimensions are not included in this specification. Bolts dimension shall be in accordance with ASME B16.5 / ASME B16.47 / MSS SP - 44 and API 6A for all standard flanges.SPECIFICATION FOR PIPING MATERIALPage 10 of 38NPS1/2 TO 34 AND LARGERMin. 48、1 OIL FIELD DEVELOPMENT ADJUSTINGBD-SPC-WHPF-PI-0002REV.0Stud bolt length shall comply with ASME B16.5 / B16.47 or other standards excluding end points, and shall be lengthened by 0.25 in for diameter smaller than 1-1/4”, Stud bolts 1-1/4” diameter and over shall be lengthened by 1.5 bolt diameter t

49、o accommodate bolt torquing or tensioning. And all stud bolt length shall be rounded up to the nearest 0.25 in.Machined bolts / nuts with Chinese standards may be used for piping supports.All bolts shall be threaded full length with continuous threads.6.5GASKETSAsbestos gasket materials shall not be

50、 used. Gasket selection is identified in the individual specifications. In general, the following are the selections with regard to connection type.FF Compressed non-asbestos for general service per ASME B16.21RF Spiral wound with Flexicarb filler, Flexitallic style CGI per ASME B16 .20RTJ Type R oc

51、tagonal ring gaskets per ASME B16.20Ring type joint gaskets shall be per ASME16.20 and shall be used for pressure classes 900Ib and above. Spiral wound gaskets shall conform to all requirements of ASME B16.20 and be capable of mating with flanges of ASME B16.5.Gaskets for cast iron -to -steel flange

52、 shall be full face.6.6FLANGESFlanges up to NPS 24, pressure classes 150, 300 600, 900, and 1500, Flanges up to NPS 12, pressure class 2500, shall conform to ASME B16.5.Flanges NPS 26”, and larger with pressure rating of class 150, 300, 400, and 600 shall conform to ASME B16.47A type.Flanges NPS 22 with pressure rating of class 150, 300, and 600 shall conform to MSS SP-44.Class 150 steel flat face flanges shall be used for mating to cast iron and bronze body valves and equipment, and for mating to non -metallic piping flanges.
