Module 6 Unit 1 It was Damings birthday yesterday1教学目标 本套教材注重学生语言运用能力的培养,教学内容紧密联系学生实际生活和社会热议话题本课是新标准英语(一年级起点)六年级下册第六模块第一单元。本模块的话题是present,任务是Talking about the presents you got last birthday教材比较侧重语篇的连贯和整合。2学情分析 本课出自新标准英语一年级起点六年级上册。孩子们马上进入初中,已经形成了一定的学习态度和学习习惯,孩子们更加稳重,同时的副作用是上课不愿意参与活动,不愿意开口说话。3重点难点 教学重点1.熟练掌握本课单词和目标语句;2.进一步强化复习一般过去时的运用。教学难点1. interested的发音2. 用一般过去式来描述礼物4教学过程 活动1【导入】Warmup and leadin 1. Greetings. T &Ss greet each other.2. Act the dialogue in Unit 1.Answer 4 questions: 1. What did he buy?2. Where did he buy?3. Why cant he wear the T-shirt?4. What present is right for him?(设计意图:通过听读活动一,理解了活动一的内容,同时第三和第四个问题,在文章中没有明确答案的情况下师生之间进行free talk,培养了孩子的发散性思维,活跃了课堂气氛,营造了和谐、宽松的学习氛围,同时引出了本课的task)活动2【导入】Task Presentation Present the task: Talk about the presents you got last birthday.(设计意图:呈现任务,明确学习目标,带着目的学习本课。)活动3【讲授】 Text Learning 1. Show the title of Module6 Unit1: It was Damings birthday yesterday.T: It was Damings birthday yesterday. He got many presents from his family and friends. What did they buy?Ss: They bought him a ( cake, ball, book)(设计意图:突破背景语言,并练习运用buy sb. Sth. 进行描述)2. Teacher shows the picture of Simons mum.T: She also bought Daming a preset.What was the present?What was it about?Listen and read paragraph 1&2 and then answer.Answer: It was a book. It was about space travel.It was a book about space travel.Learn the phrase: space travel.T: Daming is very interested in space travel. Are you interested in space travel?Ss: Im interested in space travel.(设计意图:通过问题牵引学习第一,二俩段课文,了解了本课的主线内容,大明得到了一本关于宇宙飞船的书。并学习本课词汇和短语:space travel, be interested in)3. T: Daming and Simon are interested in space travel. So Daming asked Simon to read the book with him. Do you want to read this book with them?Ss: Read the book about space travel in groups.T: Record the time of every group.T: Daming and Simon finished the book in two hours. How about you?Ss: We finished the book in T: In the book, what did you see? I sawWhich one are you interested in? I m interested in(设计意图:此处教师采取了让孩子读一本关于spaceship的书的方式来让孩子了解3个国家的宇宙飞船的基本情况,同时教师现场计时,并让孩子汇报他们组用了多长时间的形式来突破句式:We finished the book in 看完书后教师进行提问了解孩子对书的掌握情况,并和孩子聊一聊他们对哪艘宇宙飞船感兴趣,为什么,此处是训练孩子发散性思维的好机会,同时渗透情感教育,we sent so many people into space too. 激发孩子的自豪感。)4. T: After reading, what did Daming and Simon make? Who did they give?Ss: They made a paper spaceship together.They gave the spaceship to Simons mum.Daming thanked her for the birthday present.She was very happy.(设计意图:通过四个过去式的单词made,gave,thanked,was 的引导来学习第5段,并渗透情感教育,我们接受礼物的同时也要知道感谢,叫做礼尚往来。)5. Read the text.1. Read after video.2. Read in groups3. Read in class.(设计意图:跟读录音有助于学生模仿地道的语音和语调,为学生说好英语打好基础。教师在学生跟读过程中要及时纠正学生在语音语调方面出现的各种错误,同时理解课文,训练学生阅读能力。)6. Retell the text.(设计意图:通过思维导图的方式让孩子复述课文,清晰课文脉络。)活动4【练习】 Practice Read the story about Teachers birthday present and answer the questions.(设计意图:通过课文的学习能够阅读相关短文,教师编写了一篇关于自己生日礼物的文章,让孩子阅读并回答问题,通过这个形式总结出描述生日礼物应该从哪几个方面入手。)活动5【练习】 Task Completion Talk about their birthday presents and write it down.(设计意图:在这个环节中,通过一个综合性的语言输出达到任务完成的目的,与开头的任务呈现遥相呼应。)活动6【作业】
