3、eriment: Pour some vinegar into a glass and add salt. Stir it up. Put about 5 pennies into the glass and count to 10 slowly. Take out the pennies and rinse them out in some water. Admire their shininess! Do you think its amazing? What is it about? Its a simple scientific experiment. If youre interes

4、ted in scientific experiment, after class you can surf the internet, therere many webs offering simple experiments for you to do at home. Enjoy them later. Doing a quiz (4 minutes)So lets do a quiz to check how much you know about general science. Please look at the quiz on Page 41 and finish it quickly.

While reading, find the rules to say the fractions?1) We use cardinal(基数)number as numerator /nju:mreit/(分子) and ordina

23、l(序数) number as denominator/dinomineit/(分母). 2) If denominator is more than one, well use plural form. 3) Sometimes we use a dash between cardinal number and ordinal number. Sometimes we do not.
