rearofthevehicleandtowarnotherroadusersthatthevehicleisreversingorabouttoreverse;ThedefinitionsgiveninRegulationNo.48anditsseriesofamendmentsinforceatthetimeofapplicationfortypeapprovalshallapplytothisRegulation.reversinglampsofdifferent"types"arereversinglampswhichdifferinsuchessentialrespectsas,thetradenameormark;thecharacteristicsoftheopticalsystem;theinclusionofcomponentscapableofalteringtheopticaleffectsbyreflection,refractionorabsorption;andthecategoryoffilamentlamp. APPLICATIONFORAPPROVAL2.1. Theapplicationforapprovalshallbesubmittedbytheholderofthetradenameormark,orbyhisdulyaccreditedrepresentative.Atthechoiceoftheapplicant,itwillspecifythatthedevicemaybeinstalledonthevehiclewithdifferentinclinationsofthereferenceaxisinrespecttothevehiclereferenceplanesandtothegroundorrotatearounditsreferenceaxis;thesedifferentconditionsofinstallationshallbeindicatedinthecommunicationform. Foreachtypeofreversinglamp,theapplicationshallbeaccompaniedby:drawings,intriplicate,insufficientdetailtopermitidentificationofthetypeofthe

reversinglampandshowinginwhatgeometricalposition(s)thereversinglampmaybe

mountedonthevehicle;theaxisofobservationtobetakenastheaxisofreferencein

thetests(horizontalangleH=0,verticalangleV=0);andthepointtobetakenasthe

centreofreferenceinthesaidtests.Thedrawingsmustshowthepositionintendedfortheapprovalnumberandtheadditionalsymbolinrelationtothecircleoftheapprovalabrieftechnicaldescriptionstating,inparticular,withtheexceptionoflampswithnon-

MARKINGSThesamplesofatypeofreversinglampsubmittedforapprovalshall:bearthetradenameormarkoftheapplicant;thismarkingshallbeclearlylegibleandbeindelible;bearaclearlylegibleandindeliblemarkingindicatingthecategoryorcategoriesoffilamentlampsprescribed;thisisnotvalidforreversinglampswithnon-replaceablelightsources;ifnecessaryinordertopreventanymistakeinmountingthereversinglamponthevehicle,beartheword"TOP"markedhorizontallyontheuppermostpartoftheilluminatingsurface;provideadequatespacefortheapprovalmarkandfortheadditionalsymbolsprescribedinparagraph4.3.below;thesaidspaceshallbeshowninthedrawingreferredtoinparagraph2.2.1.above;inthecaseofreversinglampswithnon-replaceablelightsourcesbearthemarkingofratedvoltageandratedwattage.4. APPROVALIfthetwosamplesofatypeofreversinglampmeettherequirementsofthisRegulation,approvalshallbegranted.Anapprovalnumbershallbeassignedtoeachtypeapproved.ThesameContracting

PartyshallnotassignthesamenumbertoanothertypeofreversinglampcoveredbythisRegulation.NoticeofapprovalorofextensionorrefusalorwithdrawalofapprovalorproductiondefinitelydiscontinuedofatypeofreversinglamppursuanttothisRegulationshallbecommunicatedtothePartiestothe1958AgreementwhichapplythisRegulationbymeansofaformconformingtothemodelinannex1tothisRegulation.EveryreversinglampconformingtoatypeapprovedunderthisRegulationshallbearinthespacereferredtoinparagraph3.4.above,inadditionthemarkandtheparticularsprescribedaboveinparagraphs3.1.,3.2.and3.3.or3.5.respectively:4.3.1.aninternationalapprovalmarkconsistingof:共52页第9页E/ECE/324｝修订1/增补22/修订2E/ECE/TRANS/505A《第23号条例》2.2.3.两个样品。如果装置不相同但是是对称的，适于将1个安装在车辆的左侧，将另1个安装在车辆的右侧，提交的2个样本可以是相同的，适于安装在车辆的左边或者右边。3. 标志提交用于认证的倒车信号灯的样品应该∶3.1. 贴有申请者的商标名或标志；标志应该清晰易读、难以拭除；3.2. 贴有清晰易读、难以拭除的标志，标明规定的白炽灯类别；本规定不适用于使用不可更换光源的倒车信号灯；3.3. 如有必要，为了防止倒车信号灯在车辆上安装时出现错误，在照明表面水平粘贴“TOP”标志；3.4. 对认证标志以及下面4.3.规定的附加符号保留足够的空间；该空间在上面2.2.1.中提到的图纸中要有标明；3.5. 对于使用不可更换光源的倒车信号灯，粘贴标明额定电压和额定瓦数的标志。4. 批准认证4.1.如果倒车信号灯的两个样品满足本《条例》的要求，授予认证。4.2. 对每个认证的型式分配一个认证编号。相同的签约国不应该对本《条例》包括的另一种倒车信号灯分配相同的编号。依照本《条例》对倒车信号灯型式认证的批准、延期、拒绝或撤消以及明确中止生产某种型式的倒车信号灯，应该利用与本《条例》附件1中样式一致的通告文件，通知签署1958年《协议》的、应用本《条例》的各方。4.3. 每个与认证型式一致的倒车信号灯，在上面3.4.中规定的区域，在粘贴认证标志之外，还要粘贴上面3.1、3.2、和3.3或3.5规定的详细资料。4.3.1.有下列要素组成的国际认证标志∶共52页第10页acirclesurroundingtheletter"E"followedbythedistinguishingnumberofthecountrywhichhasgrantedtheapproval;1/andanapprovalnumber;anadditionalsymbolconsistingoflettersAandR,mingledasshowninannex2tothisRegulation.ThefirsttwodigitsoftheapprovalnumberwhichindicatethemostrecentseriesofamendmentstothisRegulationmaybeplacedinthevicinityoftheadditionalsymbol"AR."Onlampsofwhichthevisibilityanglesaresymmetricalwithregardtothereferenceaxisinahorizontaldirection,anarrowpointingtowardsthesideonwhichthephotometricspecificationsaremetuptoanangleof45°H.4.4. TheidentificationsymbolforeachlampappropriatetoeachRegulationunderwhichapprovalhasbeengranted,togetherwiththecorrespondingseriesofamendmentsincorporatingthemostrecentmajortechnicalamendmentstotheRegulationatthetimeofissueoftheapproval,shallbemarked:Eitherontheappropriatelight-emittingsurface,Orinagroup,insuchawaythateachlampofthegrouped,combinedorreciprocallyincorporatedlampsmaybeclearlyidentified(seethreepossibleexamplesinannex2).ThesizeofthecomponentsofasingleapprovalmarkshallnotbelessthantheminimumsizerequiredforthesmallestoftheindividualmarksbyaRegulationunderwhichapprovalhasbeengranted.Anapprovalnumbershallbeassignedtoeachtypeapproved.ThesameContracting

Partymaynotassignthesamenumbertoanothertypeofgrouped,combinedorreciprocallyincorporatedlampscoveredbythisRegulation.Themarkandsymbolreferredtoinparagraphs4.3.1.and4.3.2.shallbeindelibleandshallbeclearlylegibleevenwhenthereversinglampismountedonthevehicle.Annex2givesexamplesofapprovalmarksforasinglelamp(figure1)andforgrouped,combinedorreciprocallyincorporatedlamps(figure2)withalltheadditionalsymbolsreferredtoabove,inwhichthelettersAandRaremingled.5. GENERALSPECIFICATIONSEachsampleshallconformtothespecificationssetforthintheparagraphsbelow.Reversinglampsshallbesodesignedandconstructedthatinnormaluse,despitethevibrationtowhichtheymaythenbesubjected,theycontinuetofunctionsatisfactorilyandretainthecharacteristicsprescribedbythisRegulation.6. INTENSITYOFLIGHTEMITTEDTheintensityofthelightemittedbyeachofthetwosamplesshallbenotlessthantheminimaandnotgreaterthanthemaximaspecifiedbelowandshallbemeasuredinrelationtotheaxisofreferenceinthedirectionsshownbelow(expressedindegreesofanglewiththeaxisofreference).Theintensityalongtheaxisofreferenceshallbenotlessthan80candelas.共52页第13页E/ECE/324｝修订1/增补22/修订2E/ECE/TRANS/505A《第23号条例》4.4.1.1.安装后明显可见；4.4.1.2.不去除认证标志无法拆卸组合灯、复合灯或混合灯的任何发光部件。4.4.2. 应该用识别符号标明，灯具认证所依据的《条例》，以及获得认证时《条例》的系列修订，包括最近主要的技术性补充条款∶4.4.2.1.可以贴在适当的发光表面，4.4.2.2.也可以集中粘贴，但是要能清楚识别组合灯、复合灯或混合灯的每个灯具。(参看附件2中的3个范例).4.4.3. 单一认证标志的各组成部分的尺寸不能小于授予认证所依据的《条例》规定的最小单独标志的最小尺寸。4.4.4. 对每个认证的型式分配一个认证编号。相同的签约国不能对本《条例》包括的其它组合灯、复合灯或混合灯型式分配相同的编号。4.5.即使倒车信号灯安装在车辆上，4.3.1.和4.3.2.提到的标志与符号应该难拭除、清晰易读。4.6. 附件2给出了单一灯具(图1)和组合灯、复合灯或混合灯(图2)的认证标志以及上面提到的附加符号（由字母A和字母R混合而成）的范例。5. 一般技术要求5.1. 每个样品应该与下面规定的技术要求一致。5.2. 倒车信号灯的设计和制造应该保证在正常的使用中，即使可能承受振动，能够令人满意地继续实现其功能并保持本《条例》规定的特性。6.发光强度6.1. 两个样品中的每个灯具的发光强度不能小于小面规定的最小值，也不能大于下面规定的最大值，在下面所示的方向上相对于基准轴进行测量（用相对于基准轴的角度来表示）。6.2. 沿基准轴的亮度不能小于80烛光。共52页第14页6.3. Theintensityofthelightemittedinalldirectionsinwhichthelightcanbeobservedshallnotexceed:300candelasindirectionsinorabovethehorizontalplane;and,indirectionsbelowthehorizontalplane:600candelasbetweenh-hand5_Dand8,000candelasbelow5_D.6.4.Ineveryotherdirectionofmeasurementshowninannex3tothisRegulation,theluminousintensityshallbenotlessthantheminimaspecifiedinthatannex.However,inthecasewherethereversinglampisintendedtobeinstalledonavehicleexclusivelyinapairofdevices,thephotometricintensitymaybeverifiedonlyuptoanangleof30_inwardswhereaphotometricvalueofatleast25cdshallbesatisfied.Thisconditionshallbeclearlyexplainedintheapplicationforapprovalandrelatingdocuments(seeparagraph2.ofthisRegulation).Moreover,inthecasewherethetypeapprovalwillbegrantedapplyingtheconditionabove,astatementinparagraph11."Comments"ofthecommunicationform(seeannex1tothisRegulation),willinformthatthedeviceshallonlybeinstalledinapair.6.5. Inthecaseofasinglelampcontainingmorethanonelightsource,thelampshallcomplywiththeminimumintensityrequiredwhenanyonelightsourcehasfailedandwhenalllightsourcesareilluminatedthemaximumintensitiesshallnotbeexceeded.7. PENALTIESFORNON-CONFORMITYOFPRODUCTIONTheapprovalgrantedinrespectofatypeofreversinglamppursuanttothisRegulationmaybewithdrawniftheforegoingrequirementsarenotcompliedwithorifthereversinglampbearingthemarkreferredtoinparagraphs4.3.1.and4.3.2.doesnotconformtothetypeapproved.IfaContractingPartytotheAgreementwhichappliesthisRegulationwithdrawsanapprovalithaspreviouslygranted,itshallforthwithsonotifytheotherContractingPartiesapplyingthisRegulation,bymeansofacommunicationformconformingtothemodelinannex1tothisRegulation.11. PRODUCTIONDEFINITELYDISCONTINUEDIftheholderoftheapprovalcompletelyceasestomanufactureatypeofreversinglampapprovedinaccordancewiththisRegulation,heshallsoinformtheauthoritywhichgrantedtheapproval.Uponreceivingtherelevantcommunication,thatauthorityshallinformthereoftheotherPartiestothe1958AgreementwhichapplythisRegulationbymeansofacommunicationformconformingtothemodelinannex1tothisRegulation.共52页第17页E/ECE/324｝修订1/增补22/修订2E/ECE/TRANS/505A《第23号条例》8. 光线的颜色附件3第2段规定的光强分布网格内部区域的光线的颜色应该是白色的，如果存在怀疑，可以根据本《条例》之附件4给出的白光的定义进行检查。上述区域之外不应该能够观察到明显的颜色变化。9. 生产的一致性保证生产一致性的方法应该遵从《协议》的附录2(E/ECE/324-E/ECE/TRANS/505/Rev.2)，满足下列要求∶9.1. 根据《条例》认证的灯具的制造应该保证与认证的型式的一致性，满足上面6.和8.中提出的要求。9.2. 应该符合本《条例》之附件5提出的对生产控制过程一致性的最低要求。9.3. 应该符合本《条例》之附件6提出的检验员对样品的最低要求。9.4. 授予型式认证的主管机关可以随时检查每个生产厂所采用的一致性控制方法。检查的正常频度应该是每两年一次。10. 对生产不一致性的处罚10.1. 如果倒车信号灯不满足上述要求或如果粘贴4.3.1.和4.3.2.中提到的标志的倒车信号灯与获得认证的型式存在不一致，可以撤消依照本《条例》对倒车信号灯授予的认证。10.2. 如果应用本《条例》的协议签约国撤消它以前授予的认证，它应该利用符合本《条例》之附件1所给样式的通告表，立即通知应用本《条例》的其它签约国。11. 明确中止生产如果认证持有者彻底停止一个依照本《条例》获得认证的型式的倒车信号灯的生产，他也应该用同样的方法通知授予该认证的主管机关。收到通知后，主管机关应该利用符合本《条例》之附件1给出的样式的通告表，通知应用本《条例》的、1958协议的其它签约国。共52页第18页12.
