ThankyouforpurchasingtheBACnetoptioncard(VW3A3315)forAltivar61drive.

IMPORTANT:ThiscommunicationoptioncardisonlysupportedwiththeversionV1.2andaboveoftheAltivar61firmware.

ByInstallingthisboardintotheAltivar61,datacommunicationcanbemadewithahostcomputerorotherdeviceviaBACnetnetwork.

ThecommunicationcardhasaDsub9-pinconnectorforconnectiontothenetwork.

DataexchangesgiveaccesstoallAltivar61functions:•Control(start,stop,reset,setpoint),

•Monitoring(status,current,voltage,thermalstate...),•Diagnostics(alarms).

Thegraphicdisplayterminalortheintegrateddisplayterminalcanbeusedtoaccessnumerousfunctionsforcommunicationconfigurationanddiagnostics.

WhenwiringAltivar61drivestoaBACnetnetwork,followallwiringpracticesrequiredbynationalandlocalelectricalcodes.Alsoobservethefollowingguidelines:

•Avoidareasofhightemperature,moisture,vibration,orothermechanicalstress.

•Securethecablewherenecessarytopreventitsweightandtheweightofothercablesfrompullingortwistingthecable.

•Usecableducts,raceways,orotherstructurestoprotectthecable.Usethesestructuresforsignalwiringpaths.Theymustnotcontainpowerwiring.

•Avoidsourcesofelectricalinterferencethatcaninducenoiseintothecable.Usethemaximumpracticableseparationfromsuchsources.

Whenplanningcableroutingwithinabuilding,followtheseguidelines:•Maintainaminimumseparationof1mfromthefollowingequipment:
