Tuck the cloth into the bite-line located in the back of the seat and smooth the wrinkles out of the cloth.2. Pick OSCAR up by holding the T-Bar and torso weight retainer. Lift him in the closed position and keep him from folding out. Gently place Oscar on to the centerline of the seat.3. Attach the both leg assemblies at the 4.5-inch mark on the inside of the T- Bar. The T-Bar and leg assemblies should be locked into position at the 95 percent mark.4. Load lower leg and thigh weights. While Oscars torso is forward, use the T- Bar to pull Oscar about 1 to 2 inches away from the seat back. Let him slide gently back until the back pan contacts the seat back.6. Using a digital force gauge, apply a 22 pound load twice to the spring located at the intersection of the hip angle quadrant and the T- Bar. Keep Oscar from sliding forward in the seat.7. Alternate sides as you load the eight upper torso weights.10. Bring Oscar s torso forward until the stop is contacted.10.Holding the T-Bar, gently rock Oscar 5 degrees to each side for three complete cycles. Watch the bubble gage to ensure that 5 degrees of movement is reached but not exceeded.11.Return Oscars feet to their original location on the floor pan and check to ensure Oscar remains level.H-Point Job Aid.DOC 3-21-2001 4H-Point Test Procedure Review12.Holding the T-Bar and using no pressure, push Oscars torso to the seat back.13.Apply a rearward force, perpendicular to the hip angle bar, just above the torso weights that is equal to 15 pounds of force or enough to move the hip angle 3 degrees. This will set Oscars torso to the seat back.
