語言學習策略查核表STRATEGY INVENTORY FOR LANGUAGE LEARNING (SILL)ESL/EFL 7.0版 by R. Oxford, 1989說明Direction這份語言學習策略查核表是為EFL學生所設計。內容關於英語學習狀況等陳述。請仔細閱讀每項陳述。依據每一項陳述對於你的真實性,把答案(1, 2, 3, 4, 5)寫在答案分數工作單上。This form of the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) is for students of English as a second or foreign language. You will find statements about learning English. Please read each one and write the response (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5) that tells HOW TRUE OF YOU THE STATEMENT IS on the worksheet for answering and scoring.1. 我從來都沒有或是幾乎沒有。Never or almost never true of me. 2. 我通常沒有。Usually not true of me. 3. 有點像我。Somewhat true of me.4. 我通常是這樣。Usually true of me.5. 我一直都是這樣,或是幾乎一向如此。Always or almost always true of me.我從來都沒有或是幾乎沒有表示該陳述的正確性很低。NEVER OR ALMOST NEVER TRUE OF ME means that the statement is very rarely true of you.我通常沒有表示該陳述的正確性沒有超過一半。USUALLY NOT TRUE OF ME means that the statement is true less than half the time.有點像我表示該陳述的正確性為一半。SOMEWHAT TRUE OF ME means that the statement is true of you about half the time.我通常是這樣表示該陳述的正確性已超過一半。USUALLY TRUE OF ME means that the statement is true more than half the time.我一直都是這樣,或是幾乎一向如此表示該陳述的正確性幾乎百分之百。ALWAYS OR ALMOST ALWAYS TRUE OF ME means that the statement is true of you almost always.你的回答是根據該陳述有多麼像你的程度。不要依照你認為自己應該是什麼樣子或是別人是怎麼認為的來回答。這些陳述並沒有對或錯的標準答案。在謹慎小心的情況下,快速作答。這份問卷通常需花二十到三十分鐘。如果有問題,馬上告知你的老師。Answer in terms of how well the statement describes you. Do not answer how you think you should be, or what other people do. There are no right or wrong answers to these statements. Work as quickly as you can without being careless. This usually takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. If you have any questions, let the teacher know immediately.Part A1. 我會去思考學過的和新學的英語之間的關係。I think of relationships between what I already know and new things I learn in English. 2. 為了記住新學的英語單字,我會試著用這些生字來造句。 I use new English words in a sentence so I can remember them. 3. 我會在腦海中想出可以配合英語聲音的圖片或意象,以便記住某個單字。I connect the sound of a new English word and an image or picture of the word to help me remember the word. 4. 我會在腦中製造出某個生字出現的情境,以這種方法把單字背起來。I remember a new English word by making a mental picture of a situation in which the word might be used. 5. 我會使用押韻的方式來記住生字。I use rhymes to remember new English words. 6. 我會使用閃示卡來背生字。 I use flashcards to remember new English words. 7. 我會把生字用肢體演出來。 I physically act out new English words. 8. 我常常複習英語課程。 I review English lessons often. 9. 我會按照生字或片語出現在課本、黑板或是街道看板的位置,來記住生字或片語。I remember new English words or phrases by remembering their location on the page, on the board, or on a street sign. Part B10. 我會重複說或寫英文生字好幾次。I say or write new English words several times. 11. 我會想把英語說得像以英語為母語的人一樣。I try to talk like native English speakers. 12. 我會練習英語的發音。I practice the sounds of English. 13. 我會把學過的英文字用在不同的方面上。I use the English words I know in different ways. 14. 我會以英語開啟對話。I start conversations in English. 15. 我會看以英語發音的電視節目或電影。I watch English TV shows spoken in English or go to movies spoken in English. 16. 我閱讀英文做為休閒活動。I read for pleasure in English. 17. 我會以英語來記筆記、訊息、書信或是報告。I write notes, messages, letters, or reports in English. 18. 我會先略讀英語的文章(很快地把文章看過一遍),然後再回來細看。I first skim an English passage (read over the passage quickly) then go back and read carefully. 19. 我會在我的母語裡找尋和英語相同的生字。I look for words in my own language that are similar to new words in English. 20. 我會找出英語的模式。I try to find patterns in English. 21. 我會把英語拆解開來,找出自己懂的部份,藉以了解單字的意思。I find the meaning of an English word by dividing it into parts that I understand. 22. 我不會逐字逐句翻譯。I try not to translate word-for-word. 23. 我會把聽到或是讀到的英文資訊做成摘要。I make summaries of information that I hear or read in English. Part C24. 遇到不熟悉的英文單字,我會去猜它的意思。To understand unfamiliar English words, I make guesses. 25. 在對話中,我如果想不出某個字英文怎麼說,我會使用表情和動作。When I can think of a word during a conversation in English, I use gestures. 26. 如果我不知道英語該怎麼說,我會自己創造新字。I make up new words if I do not know the right ones in English. 27. 閱讀的過程中,我一遇到生字就馬上查字典。I read English without looking up every new word. 28. 我會用英語試著去猜別人接著會說什麼。I try to guess what the other person will say next in English. 29. 如果我想不起來某個英文單字,我會用別的字或片語來轉述同樣的意思。I can think of an English word, I use a word or phrase that means the same thing. Part D30. 我會儘量找機會練習英語。I try to find as many ways as I can to use my English. 31. 我會注意我所犯的錯誤,藉此幫助自己學得更好。I notice my English mistakes and I use that information to help me do better. 32. 當有人在說英語時,會引起我的注意。I pay attention when someone is speaking English. 33. 我會想辦法讓自己成為更好的英語學習者。I try to find out how to be a better learner of English. 34. 我會好好規畫時間,以便有足夠的時間學英語。I plan my schedule so I will have enough time to study English. 35. 我會找能用英語談話的人練習英語。I look for people I can talk to in English. 36. 我會儘量找機會閱讀英語。I look for opportunities to read as much as possible in English. 37. 對於如何增進英語能力我有相當清楚的目標。I have clear goals for improving my English skills. 38. 我會去思考我在學習英語上的進步程度。I think about my progress in learning English. Part E39. 每當我感到害怕要用英語時,我會儘量放輕鬆。I try to relax whenever I feel afraid of using English. 40. 即使我很怕會說錯,我還是鼓勵自己多開口說英語。I encourage myself to speak English even when I am afraid of making a mistake. 41. 當我在英語方面有良好表現時,我會犒賞自己。I give myself a reward or treat when I do well in English. 42. 我會注意當我在研讀或使用英語時是否會緊張。I notice if I am tense or nervous when I am studying or using English. 43. 我會把我的感覺記錄在語言學習日記裡。I write down my feelings in a language learning diary. 44. 當我在學英語時,我會告訴別人我的感覺。I talk to someone else about how I feel when I am learning English. Part F45. 遇到聽不懂的英文,我會請他放慢速度,或是再講一次。If I do not understand something in English, I ask the other person to slow down or say it again. 46. 當我說英語
