目的状语从句 目的状语从句：从句部分是用以补充说明主句中谓语动词发生的目的。 引导目的状语从句常用的连词有： that（以便），so that（以便）， in order that（为了；以便），lest（免得；唯恐）， for fear that（生怕；以免）等词引导； 目的状语从句的谓语常含有may, might, can, could, should, would等情态动词。 1 You must speak louder so that /in order that you can be heard by all. 2.He wrote the name down for fear that(lest) he should forget it. 3.Better take more clothes in case the weather is cold. 4.Say it louder(so)that everyone can hear you. 大声说，以便大家都能听到你。 5.I am telling you that lest you should make a mistake. 我告诉你这一点，以免你搞错。 6. You must go now so that you wont be late. 四、以“so.that”引导的结果状语从句可以转换成不定式的简单句，即可转换为“.enough to.”或“.too.to”句型，但这种转换必须符合下列条件： 1. 当主句和从句的主语一致，且that从句是肯定句时，可用“enough to do sth.”来转换。例如： .The man is so strong that he can lift the heavy box. =The man is strong enough to lift the heavy box. .
