All of these are in line with the national condition of ones own比较好的翻译：looking over the past 100 years, there have been tremendous development and changes in the political, economic, social and legal sphere that were appropriate to the individual characteristics of our respective countries历史悠久，享有盛誉的大学：Historic and prestigious university中国法制建设（强调建设） development of Chinese legal system中国的法制建设（强调法制） the rule of law in china司法改革 judicial reform现代化建设 就是一个modernization促进 facilitate 有的时候老是意识不到这个问题呀！在干这个的同时干那个。这种表示并列关系变成英文就用along with衔接就比较好。国家各级行政、审判、检察机关都由人民代表大会产生，并对其负责。这里比较难的点出了生词不认识或记不下来以外，还有就是两个动词不好处理，一个是“由产生”，另一个就是“对其负责”由产生 be appointed by对其负责 be accountable to it全体会议 plenary session宪法修正案 revised constitution“制定法律”的“制定” instigate、formulate、enact、promulgate法律、法规、规定等等：Law、regulation、decision、bylaw合法的 lawful、legitimate修改 revise诉讼程序上的司法解释（二级碰上肯定办死,另外记笔记和很困难，只能及汉字了）judicial interpretation of procedural matters in prosecution我有信心 I am confident; I have the confidence 千万别把两个词弄拧了，呵呵中文：香港和澳门继续实行原有的社会制度、经济制度和生活方式。原有的法律制度也基本没变我想说的是在这个句号的地方可以加一个furthermore 作为连接，使句子更好听。上面的句子表示“没有变的”翻译可以为 to remain intact。温家宝的记者招待会就是这么翻的。法律间的冲突 the clash between the legal system一系列（老生常谈）a set of 是比较新的用法司法联系和合作 judicial communication and cooperation履行职责 carry out the duty授予 be bestowed by创造性的工作 有些人会说 creative work，不错。但是更好的翻法是pioneering work。比如修饰董建华的工作的时候就可以这样用。破坏市场经济秩序 sabotage the order of the market economy坚决打击 crack down调节经济关系 用adjust不如用balance好。要认清语言的深层含义！维护社会正义 uphold the social justice中国最高人民法院 the Supreme Peoples Court of China人民陪审员制度 peoples juror system建立完善 好像中文标识的是两个意思，但是在英文的口译之中，单单用develop 就可以了。“阳光下的审判” 其实意思就是“光明正大”的审判的意思 林超伦的翻译是 its now all above board中国民主法制建设的进步我初步翻译的是 the progress of the development of the democratic legal system.但是林的翻译是 the progress of democratic legal development 呵呵这个句子很好！ 我们有信心建设一个更加公正、更加廉洁、更加高效、更加文明，具有中国特色的社会主义审判机制和组织体系 We are confident that we will have a socialist trial mechanism and an organizational system that is fairer, corruption free, more efficient and more civilized, with Chinese characteristics。必经之路 the only way to把提出来作为自己的目标 （非常郑重的）clearly stated its goal to be 严格执法 implement the law to the letter。to the letter 是字斟句酌的意思。体现、象征 symbolize从不成熟走向成熟 move from inception towards maturitymomentum 的用处也不小哦依法严惩 可能会首先想到把“依法”放到后面去，但实际上可以说 to use the law to do sth表示不断“加强、努力”的套词：strengthen、drive forward、increase the effort、facilitate the effort、carry out the 、facilitate、适合 suit. 及物动词 呵呵。好简单地方人大制定许多地方法规。这句中文中的第二个地方不必翻译出来，如果犯了就是冗余的词了。今天做的都是关于地方介绍的，覆盖面很广！（Trans代表正确翻译）中文里介绍地方的气候环境的时候，往往会出现很多并列的词组，比如下面：“这里平均海拔为 4米左右，属热带季风气候，四季分明，日照丰富，雨量充沛。”一共五个信息点，当都比较并列。我刚开始听的时候，便一下子记乱了笔记。Trans: It averages about 4 meters above sea level. It has a tropical monsoon climate, with four different seasons, plenty of sunshine and good rainfall. 分成两句话，尤其是第二句比较好。准确运用 with 衔接多个名词链接。还有就是要留意 average 这个词的用法。现代化国际大都市：International metropolitan city“肩负着面向世界、服务中国的使命”：我开始翻译的时候就是shoulder the responsibility in facing the world and servicing China. 语法等等暂且不提，单就构思就不是很高明：Trans: be the window to the world and a powerhouse of the Chinese economy 很有创意！人均GDP突破4500美元：Per capita GDP break through the 4500 US dollars“吞吐量是多少多少”好像很难翻的样子，其实就是to handle * tonnes of cargo.谈到出口额的时候，我们往往把关注度都放到了数字的上面，忘了其内容是goods and services财政收入 tax revenue比较经典的段子：“上海的工业总产值占全国的1/12，港口货物吞吐量占全国1/10，口岸进出口商额占全国1/4，财政收入占全国1/8。上海为全国现代化建设做出了重大的贡献。”这里都是数字和看似的名词短语，如果没有好的衔接，就是极好了笔记也很难翻好！Trans: Shanghai is responsible for one twelfth of Chinas industrial output, one tenth of cargo handling, a quarter of imports and exports, and one eighth of the tax revenue. Shanghai has been making substantial contributions to the modernization of China.其实就使用一个be responsible for 作引线，带出一系列的“x/x +of +名词短语”交通十分发达 with excellent transport links.与各个国家建立航运关系：看似很难，其实就是 be linked up with. 其实就是缺乏简练表达中的准确。终身教育体系 lifelong learning system人才资源的高低：我开始也翻成了 the height land of the talents. 但是这样很不好！Trans: a large pool of human resources.证券交易网点：share dealing networks分行和办事机构：branches and offices“除（1）之外，还有（2）” ：在翻译成英文的时候先说（2），再in addition to the （1）我的札记全为本人所学所练之心得体会，并非深奥理论，多为口译防身之用。心得时有时无，有则分享，以勉己，以励友。有的时候中文会出现冗词，这里随遇随说：中文说：“经济发展情况”而在英文中，只有：Economy.战略和规划：strategy and plan 很多人想不到“规划”应怎么翻，其实就是计划。“广东是中国大陆最南端的省份。”这句好像有点别扭，因为本来很少的意思却加了很多的东西，其实就是“广东在中国最南部”。“大陆”是使多余的，“省份”也是多余的。我翻得英文中用了： Guangdong lays in the northeast in Chinas mainland. 而比较简洁的翻法就是：GD is at the southern end of China. 有时，过分强调动词也会使句子变得不很恰当。表示面积：Covering an area of“对外交通十分便利”：好像我们怎么翻都不会想到用communication这个词。比较好的翻法：The excellent external communications.“全省形成了多层次、宽领域、全方位的对外开放格局。”说到“格局”有人就会想到pattern一词，但是在林超伦的翻译中没有用到这一个词：Our contact with the outside world is multi-leveled and multi-dimensional.表示经济落后，可以用 backward 一词。有一个小小的死规招，就是凡是说到关于GDP的内容的东西，都把GDP当作主语来对待。这会给动词（增长，降低等等）的添加带来便利。表示“倍数”不仅用time，还可以用fold用气普及率 the gas utilization“被评为”比较舒服的翻法是：be awarded the title of “居全国首位”be the number one in China 好像是有点简单，但很恰当。如果用rank也未尝不可。好像林先生比较喜欢用be动词解决可以解决的问题。呵呵“吞吐量”为动词的时候，可以用handle the cargo；用作名词的时候，可以用：the cargo transport“传统出口市场稳步发展，开拓新兴市场初见成效”要想使两个不相关的东西，但是在饭的时候可以很灵活得加上：“we have seen ”：We have seen steady growth in the development of market and initial results of the newly developed market.“实施外向带动战略”这个句子有隐含的意思，“外向带动”是什么东西？其实，这是一个导向，一个目标，就是目标向外的经济。就如把“市场导向性经济战略”说成“市场导向战略”一样，经济一词没有表现，但是这是本质的意思。翻译应该是：the strategy of an externally driven economy表示“地处”哪里哪里的意思的时候，可以简单一点表达为be in; be located in等等。当表示方位的时候，比较有效的做法就是用near to; relate to; sharing the border with; bording with 等等。“福建省是中国与世界交往的重要窗口和基地”好像很难翻的样子哦。这里我想介绍几个词语：window、gateway（网关）、bridge。这些词可以代替繁荣的中文表达，比如这里就可以表达为Fujian is an important gateway between China and the rest of the world.表示“祖籍”或是“发祥地”的意思可以用这些表达方法the birthplace; the home to; the cradleland of; the cradle of; the ancestor land of; the original place of等等。看这句话“福建海域是东海和南海的过度海区”。读到这句话的时候，我也被“过度海区”所迷惑了。这里可以翻为：The East Chinese Sea and the South Chinese Sea converge off the coast of Fujian.保税区 tax free zone; C 表示政府，统治：government，govern 希腊字母C读/ga:ma/,近似government, 所以就用C来表示govern, ernmental official 可以表示为 CZ P 表示政治：politics, political希腊字母P读/pai/,近似politics, political.那么politician就可以表示为 PZ E 表示总数：total, totally, entire, entirely, on the whole, all in all, to sum up, ect. E 数学符号表示总值。 G 表示效率：efficient, effective.G为效率符号。 Q 表示通货膨胀：inflation因为这个符号酷似一个上升的气球。 A 表示农业: agriculture. agriculture经常用到，所以用首字母代替。 B 表示商业：business.
