充满激情与爱心的教师田湘军 2007-4-16 阅读次数:233次 陈美玲张鹏 有研究说:“一些网上有名的教育博客,之前就是一个善于反思、勤于笔耕的教师”,该是很中肯的。 江南烛火田湘军信息技术的广泛应用带来了教与学的改变,已经是不争的事实。但真正能使技术发挥绩效的是以学科素养为核心的教师的综合素质以及对学生充满激情的爱心和对职业的矢志不渝。 田湘军是教育信息化过程中崭露头角的耕耘在一线的学科专家型教师,像田湘军这样的教师还有很多。e教育特别开设“e线教师”栏目,将陆续刊出田湘军式的、在教育信息化过程中活跃在一线的教师形象,让更多人感受到他们的教学激情。田湘军,广东顺德一中英语教师,从事中小学英语教学17年。第七届全国教育软件大赛“信息技术与学科教学整合课”中特设的唯一特等奖获得者。评审专家组组长评价他的课“体现了信息技术与学科教学整合思想、符合新课改精神的网络教学的一节好课!”为了充分利用网络资源开展英语教学教研活动,田湘军从1998年开始在网上建立“烛光网站”,之后又创建了“烛光博客”网站、“江南一烛”(http:/can鄄)及英语“播客网站”,2004年“烛光网站”获全国优秀教育特色网站评比一等奖。 “语言是激情的产物”,哲人这样说。走进田湘军的课堂,时时可以感受到孩子们的激情参与和欢歌笑语。 充满激情与爱心的课堂 一位听过田湘军课的老教师这样描述她的感受:“像一汩清泉深深地沁入心脾,田老师以他的人格魅力,纯正的发音、地道的表达、流利的口语,幽默诙谐,扎实的基本功,高深的课堂教学睿智、充满激情与爱心的教学艺术,打动了每个上课的孩子、征服了在场的每一个听课者。” 这是一节五年级的英语课:田湘军的教学设计丰富而充实,纵向看由浅入深,横向看由点到面。在教唱歌曲Sailing时,由听歌选歌名,到听歌填单词、听歌排列句子顺序,再到自编整首新歌,层层递进,逐步深入。在引导学生理解句子顺序时,通过反复地听、说、演、唱,从一种句型自然拓展到相关句型,在语言运用中学习语言。他的教学设计活而有序,收放自如,使每个学生在参与中体验到成就感。 “就像是外教在上课!”刚走上讲台的青年教师对田湘军地道的英语和教学中的激情这样评价。 在二年级课上,田湘军带孩子们学“love”时,先是引导学生跟着他用手比划着“心”形放声诵出“Ilove”,接着用表情和眼神把孩子们汇聚到身边表演“I love Mr.Tian.”,欢笑声中转换成“I love English.”,让每个孩子都在充满欢乐和自信中宣告:我喜欢!我喜欢田老师!我喜欢英语! 他的课堂上没有“一二三,快坐好!”和被用滥了的“小红花”。一个幽默的表情、一段优美的歌声都会引得孩子的激情参与。一节课上,当电脑屏幕保护的三维立体图形滚动起来时,一部分孩子的注意力被吸引过去,田湘军不动声色地走到教室的另一侧,一个夸张的动作,孩子们的眼光马上被牢牢地吸引了过去。 很多听过田湘军英语课堂教学的教师刚开始时感受到的是他精湛的教学艺术,细细品味才悟到那是一颗对职业的执著和对学生的爱心。 因为爱,所以奉献 “我非常喜欢教书”田湘军经常会重复这句话。2000年他在参加顺德英语教师讲演比赛时以爱通往成功的钥匙Love,the key to success表达了他自己对于从事英语教学的这份感情。 因为爱,所以他不在乎“折腾”自己,把体态、表情、语言都作为为孩子创设会话情境的手段。在一节公开课上,他和第一次接触到的孩子bye-bye时,他的一幅“痛不欲生”的夸张表情,引出孩子们对教学情境的恋恋不舍。 因为爱,他把每个孩子都视为天才。“教师的眼睛要盯住学生的心灵”是他在课堂上的感受。“与其给他补课不如给他关注!”有教师问起他课时多,怎么有时间辅导差生时,他回答说:“有了这份爱,有了这份关注,时间、空间都可以找到。” 因为爱,他把自己的个人爱好带进了课堂。他在读大学时非常喜欢吉他、喜欢音乐,曾经写下好多爱情歌曲。做了教师,他为自己的“幼稚”感到好笑,却也发现这“功夫”可以在教学中派上用场。于是工作的头一年,就先后改编和创作了20多首英语句型的歌曲,存进他的计算机里。从此,他的课堂上充满了外语歌声和乐音。他不光自己改编,还让学生改编,二年级的课上他领着学生唱“If youre happy”,唱着唱着无数的英语动词短语得到了操练,最后变成了“If youre happy and you know it,say bye-bye”,歌声中孩子们恋恋不舍地走出教室。 因为爱,他把自己喜爱的电脑、网络和教学结合在一起,各种软件和多媒体资料在他手里运用自如。走进教室,他在自己熟知的教育网站里信手拈来一幅幅生动图片和场景;举起DV机他把孩子们的表演展示在屏幕上,让学生充分体会“进行时”的动感;在“猜猜看”的游戏中,他用一幅又一幅充满想象空间的图片,给学生创造了大量开口对话的机会。他时而遮挡、时而展开漂亮的卡通,和孩子们一起思考、一起表现,让孩子们深深地感受到:学英语真好玩! 在有价值的教师博客,激情、艺术和事业缺一不可。 把工作做成兴趣是一种境界 田湘军认为:“作为教师首先是本身具备的专业素质,对英语来说就是原汁原味的英语文化;其次才是教学法、教育理论的提高。”多少年来,除了假日,他每天上网学习的时间有五六个小时,常常到晚上11点才回家。起先他看VCD、DVD原版英语影视作品,后来他在网上读英语网络杂志、读英语故事,2003年从英国进修回来时,他买回好多原版小说阅读。为了使自己的教学更“地道”,他用大量的时间在网上学习英国教师的教学案例,研究他们的教学设计和教学方法。 2000年以前,他对电脑的兴趣主要在软件和技术本身上,做了大量的课件。2000年以后他的兴趣转移到技术的教学应用上,在学校的支持下他在网上自己建起“江南一烛”博客家园,在“播客天下”开辟了班级的语音交流空间和“江南一烛”英语播客空间。他把收集到的网站资源和自己多年的教学设计、课例实录和教学反思、感受体会都放在互联网上,营造了“描绘自己对教育那份执著的阵地”。网络资源的应用,使他的教学更加得心应手,进了课堂他的预设动作就是打开自己的网站,几下利索的点击,一首首英语儿童歌曲、一段段卡通动画,瞬间就在教室里回响、在屏幕上跳动起来。 当很多人还在研究怎样突破信息技术应用的瓶颈时,计算机和网络技术已经成为他和学生心理、情感沟通的手段,成为他把孩子带进英语世界的桥梁。他用博客让孩子们充分应用英语交流、表达;他通过播客让孩子们放声对话,使“哑巴”英语变成彼此倾听和交流的过程。在“学生英语播客空间”网站里,他组织学生定期录制英语节目,通过互联网共同交流学习;在“江南一烛”播客网站里,他将自己在英语教学中的感受、课堂教学的具体做法等,通过文本、图片、音频和视频等形式全方位地展现出来。所有这一切,不仅使田湘军丰富着自己、完善着自己,而且,让更多的教师在语言世界里感受到思维与激情碰撞的快乐。 田湘军是教育信息化过程中崭露头角的耕耘在一线的学科专家型教师,他以自己的实践诠释着信息化教学的真谛,丰富延伸着课堂的内涵,为“教师就是课程”提供着佐证。田湘军老师课堂教学实录本文转自/jiaoyan/xxyy/article/20071031/20071031095218203/20071031095218203.htm SAILING (教研室李民老师根据录像记录整理)Warming up:T: which songs can you sing?
