The English Teaching Group September 28,20041、 掌握各种体裁文章格式 (1) 记叙文(Narration) 写作中应遵循以下几点。1交待要素,即人、时、地、事。2按事件发生的先后顺序叙述完整、具体。3要重点突出,目的明确。记叙文所记的都是过去发生的事,原则上通常用过去时态写。 (2) 说明文(Exposition)、描写文(Description) 这是英文常见的两种文体,以解说和描述为主要表达方式。 一般是用现在的时态。(3) 日记 (Diary) 这是把自己当天生活中经历的有意义的事以及见闻或感受记录下来的书面形式。文体自由,通常用第一人称写。 (注意:常用以表示天气的词有Fine, Cloudy, Rainy, Windy, Snow等) (4)书信(letters) 一般分为私人信函(Personal letters)和正式信函(Business letters)。英文书信从信封到正文,其格式与汉语有许多不同。书信由以下几个部分构成: a. 信头(Heading) 寄信人地址和写信日期,写在信封右上角,地址由小到大。 b. 信内地址(Inside address) 收信人姓名、地址在左上方,位置比信头低一至二行。私人信件一般不写信内地址。 c. 称呼(Greeting/Salution) (1) 不相识的用:Dear Sir/Madam(2) 相识的用:Dear Mr/Mrs/Miss+姓氏/姓名/职务/头衔 (5)通知和便条(Notice , Note) 一般至少有口头通知、书面通知两种形式,至少包括3项内容:1、时间,2、地点,3、活动内容。 Attention, please. I have something to tell you (口头通知)学生要掌握上述文体格式,尤其是考试常用文体,如书信、日记、通知、记叙文、留言条等。3. 语言通顺,表达准确 (1) 避免使用汉语式英语,尽量使用自己熟悉的句型。几种句型可交替使用,以避免重复和呆板。 (2) 多用简单句型,记事、写人一般都不需要复杂的句型。可适当多使用陈述句、一般疑问句、祈使句和感叹句。不用或少用较复杂的句型。 4注意语法、句法知识的灵活运用。 1) 语态、时态要准确无误。 2) 主谓要一致,主语的人称和数要和谓语一致。 3) 注意人称代词的宾格形式。 4) 注意冠词用法,例如: He is an honest student.中的an不能写成a。 5) 注意拼写、标点符号和大小写. 5、上下文要连贯。上下文的连贯性也是评分的一条原则,因此同学们应把写好的句子,根据故事情节,事情发生的先后次序(时间或空间),使用一些表示并列、递进等过渡词进行加工整理,使文章连贯、自然、流畅。过渡的用法: 1) 表示并列:and, as well as (以及,), or 2) 表示转折:but, yet, however still 3) 表示时间:first, second, third, finally, after, before, after a few days, at last, at that time, later, in the past, immediately, when, while, then, after that at the same time 4) 表示空间:near (to), far (from), in front of, beside, behind, above, below, to the right, to the left, on one side, on the other side of, outside 5) 表示比较:in the same way(同样的), just like, just as 6)对照关系:but, however, on the other hand, in spite of(尽管), even though 7) 表示递进: also, and, too, in addition, moreover(而且),besides 8) 表示因果:because, since, thus, so, therefore ,as a result 9) 表示解释说明:for example, in fact, actually 10) 表示强调:in fact, indeed, certainly, whats
