Among these gardens ,The Humble Administrators Garden is the most famous and biggest garden which shows the all typical characters of the classical garden. so i will take this garden for example to show you what the classical garden of suzhou is?,Corridor,Ornamental Perforated Windows （花窗，漏窗）,These windows are used to decorate the corridor and framed views,Framed Views,As its name implies ,the view was framed by something ,so that the view just looks like a painting or a picture .,one step ,one view,Rockery,Rockery is a small man-made hill,which is a very essenticial part in the garden. sometimes ,it is like a big screen ,blocking our view ,so that we fail to see the sights behind the rockey,Barred Views,Why did the encient people did that? The reason relates to the chinese peoples chaaraters and culture . Chinese people are reserved and indirect ,so they dont want people to see all wonderful views at a time. The best views are often hided. They wantted to give people surprises angain and angain .,Distant fragrance hall (远香堂）,“堂“ refers to the principal room of a house ,it is often as a place for host to greet guests ,hold the banquet(盛宴） and so on.,Why is it called “远香堂”？,The answer is about a famous chines essay-My Love on Lotus (爱莲说） Do you remember the sentence So the poet compared himself to flower（借花自喻） ,using the object to express his thoughts(托物言志） He wanted to preserve his moral integrity and purity.(洁身自好）,The Pavilion in The Lotus Breezes 荷风四面亭,“亭”everybody is familiar with it . It is the most common building in the classical gardens,even in the whole ancient chinese architecture.,Why do we call it “荷风四面亭？“,This pavilion is surrounded by the water and lotus flowers on four sides. In the summer ,the lotus flower bloom on the four sides . when the warm ,gentle wind blows,and there comes . a scent of lotus. Sitting on this place ,we can see the stream flowing,the flower bloming, the stream flowing,and the sallow dancing in the air ,the fish playing in the water.,The Listen to Rain Pavilion. 听雨轩,“轩“ ，a small ,high and ventilated (通风) room a ,always has the big,long windows.,In the room,A scene of antiquity(古色古香 spreads out before us . there are : “Brush, Inkstick, Paper, Inkstone(笔墨纸砚),chess,calligraphy(书法）, couplets（对联）,and,bonsais （盆景）.and so on Outside the window, there are lotut,bamboos, plantain(芭蕉）. i,Two beauties The one is the beauty of the nature strolling in the garden, we experience the wonderful natural scenery that almost disappeared from modern life. this is the fairyland.
