英语听力课程教学大纲课程编号:1002002课程名称:英语听力大纲执笔人:刘美含 吴珺 大纲审核人:陶伟一、课程简介英语听力课是英语专业技能训练课程之一,属于英语技能的单项训练课程。英语听力的训练不仅有助于其它单项技能的训练,扩大学生英语专业和相关专业知识面,同时也是学生学习英语国家文化知识的窗口。英语听力课是一门培养英语交际能力、全面提高学生英语水平的重要基础课程。主要授课对象为英语专业一、二年级学生。二、教学目的及要求 教学目的:现代大学英语听力课程是为英语专业学生学习其它专业课程打好基础及在听力方面用英语无障碍交流的一门基础课程,是一门培养学生听力能力的课程。听力是英语学习的基本技能之一,是学习者在基础阶段一项具有相当难度和挑战性的任务。本课程的任务是通过多种形式、多种内容的课堂教学与学生的课外学习和实践活动相结合,使学生的听力能力由初等水平逐渐提高到中高级水平,同时也为培养学生的英语交际能力奠定一个良好的基础。 教学要求:使学生明确本门课程的目的,通过有计划的训练,使他们能逐渐掌握各种英语听力技巧,听懂不同体裁和题材的听力材料:(1)能听懂简单的课堂英语和日常生活用语。(2)能在15分钟内听写已学语言知识编写的与课文题材近似的材料(词数120左右,念四遍,第一、四遍语速为每分钟80个词,第二、三遍根据意群停顿),错误率不超过10。(3)能听懂英语国家较容易听力材料和英语国家人士所作的难度基本上不超过所学语言知识面题材又较熟悉的会话,抓住中心大意、理解主要内容,能辨别说话人的态度和语气。(4)能听懂“美国之音”慢速英语广播中的新闻和文化节目,要求抓住主要内容。(5)能在15分钟内听写根据已学知识编写或选用的录音材料(词数120-150,念四遍,第一,四遍语速为每分钟100个词,第二,三遍根据意群停顿)错误率不超过10。三、教学内容重点及难点教学重点:抓住核心内容词、猜测词义、借助语法词汇帮助理解、通过篇章结构帮助理解、抓住大意、预测与推断。英语新闻广播和文化节目,培养文化敏感性。四、教学方式按各项听力技巧的难易程度和特点,有针对性地选择教材,有步骤地、分阶段进行训练,适当地安排综合训练。要安排指导学生进行课外听力训练,课堂与课外相辅相成,互相促进。要创造条件让学生多听英语讲座,多听英语广播,多看英语原版电影,英语电视及录像。(1)教师在每节课前到语言实验室及多媒体教室,提前检查多媒体的各种功能是否正常运作,例如:放音、听音、选择、会话、提问、回答、示范、讨论等各种功能是否能合理地运用和调动,在没有任何故障的前提下,教师应提前操作一遍,以便在正式上课时,达到操作自如,运用灵活,各种功能在教师的操作下发挥出应有的作用。(2)备教材:教师在每节课前做到将所教材料从头到尾地听,找出核心词组,关键句型,全文的难点和重点,动用学生已学的语言知识深入浅出地做出解释,达到学生能听懂理解的目的。对于多媒体软件的准备,更应去粗取精,有选择地运用于课堂教学。同时也准备一定量的补充材料,补充材料要选得难度适宜,趣味性强,内容要和所用教材相融合,以能弥补正式教材不足,充分的起到补充,调动的作用。(3)备教学法:由于听力课在语言实验室进行,是一个语言信号的传播和接收的过程,作为学生往往处在非常紧张而被动的气氛之中,主观能动性很难得到充分的发挥,因此,教师要高度正视课堂中教学法的运用,使用各种信息处理,传输,整理和再现的方法,使学生有选择地接受信息,加工整理以及储存,再现信息。五、学时、学分英语听力课程开设两年,四个学期。每学期课时为34学时,2学分,总学时为132学时,共计8学分。六、教学时数分配表第一学年章 节标 题学时分配讲 授实 践Unit 1University Life6Unit 2Men, Animals and Pets4Unit 3Hobby4Unit 4Transportation6Unit 5Travel6Unit 6Houses and Homes4Unit 7Festival4Unit 8News (I)6Unit 9Family Life4Unit 10Food4Unit 11Shopping4Unit 12Life Experience4Unit 13Lifestyle4Unit 14Sports4Unit 15News (II)4第二学年 章 节标 题学时分配讲 授实 践Unit 1Social Customs6Unit 2Weather4Unit 3Social Issues6Unit 4Literature6Unit 5Education4Unit 6Work4Unit 7People4Unit 8News (I)6Unit 9Language4Unit 10History4Unit 11Nature4Unit 12Geography4Unit 13Money4Unit 14Science4Unit 15News (II)4七、教学内容第一学期Unit 1 University Life1.基本教学目的和要求1)掌握与大学生活相关的基本词汇、短语及句型2)能够准确地听出表示时间,数字,价格的短语3)了解不同国家的教育方式2.重点及难点1)培养搜集信息的能力2)分清各类带有数字的表达3.主要教学内容Task 1.
