Unit 2 Great mindsLesson One 教学设计教学内容:Getting ready(p17) ,Reading(p1819)教学目标:认读理解单词,通过上下文,掌握核心单词和短语的含义,通过进一步阅读,理解主阅读课文的结构内容。教学重点:理解主阅读文章,学习核心单词和短语。教学难点:学会运用新词,理解文章完成阅读练习。教学过程:Step 1 阅读Getting ready板块的图文,了解单元话题。学生看17页卡通图,回答以下问题。What are Hi and Lo doing? What is Lo saying? Why did Hi say “ Pardon” ?Step 2 完成读前活动,看18页A练习,学生思考并回答:Do you know these people ? What did they do? 让同学们小组讨论,特别强调爱因斯坦,从而引出新课。Step 3 运用略读,学生快速阅读课文,了解主阅读篇章的结构和大致内容。Step 4 运用详读,要求学生查找出课文生词:consider , sense , humour , invitation -等,然后齐读生词。Step 5 听录音阅读课文并思考以下问题:1) Where did Einstein often explain his theories?2) Did his driver like his job?3) Why could Hans give the lecture for Einstein?4) Why did Einstein turn pale when Hans gave the lecture?5) Who drove the car when they left the university?Step 6 介绍重点短语及句型:1) 短语:a sense of humour , on these trips , on their way to , avoid doing sth , let sb down ,give the lecture , learn-by heart , take a seat , without difficulty , join in , have no idea , be in trouble , a little later 2) 句型:Its a pleasure to-Step 7 学生跟录音朗读课文,教师加强朗读技巧的指导。回家作业:1.模仿录音朗读并复述课文。 2.抄写本课所学单词和短语。 3.完成练习册Reading A的练习。Lesson One 导学案一 预习导学1. He spent lots of his life meeting many different people.(spend-doing)10. be remembered for-由于-被铭记三、 自我评价完成下例各句:1. 在田里劳作是件快乐的事情。2. 学生们必学背会每一个单词。3. 宇航们轻而易举地返回到地球。4. 她没有让我失望。5. 她最后得到了大量的掌声。6. 他们高兴地离开了那所大学。7. 爱因斯坦完美地回答了那个问题。8. 他对做家务活厌倦了。9. 汉斯有很好的记忆力。10. 他是二十世纪最伟大的科学家。11. 他一生中写了几百部小说。12. 他把一生大部分时间用在教学上。Lesson 3 教学设计教学内容: Grammar(p23-25)教学目标: 掌握动词不定式分别在句中作名词定语、句子主语和be的表语的用法。通过学习使学生能够在具体语境中正确使用动词不定式。教学重点: 掌握动词不定式作定语、主语、表语的用法。教学难点:了解动词不定式作定语后置以及具有形式主语的特点。教学过程:Step1 回顾一下上学期关于动词不定式的所学内容。学生要求课前复习关于不定式作宾语、宾语补足语和目的状语的用法。Step2 Infinitives after nouns 学习不定式在名词后作定语的用法。首先可结合书上例句让学生尝试造更多的句子。如:I have a lot of homework to do. 要向学生强调不定式作定语后置的特点。然后完成书上A1和A2练习。Step3 Infinitives as subjects学习不定式在句子中作主语的用法。1) We can use an infinitive as the subject of a sentence. 例如:To tell the truth is important.2) In most cases, we use it at the beginning of the sentence as an empty subject to refer to the infinitive.例如:It is important to tell the truth. It is a pleasure to drive a genius like you.通过完成p25对话做进一步练习。Step4 Infinitive after the verb to be We also use infinitive after the verb to be.例如:My wish is to be like Einstein. I have made a plan_(使每个人的生活更好)。2. I have got an ability _(当一个好医生)。 3他实现了他当科学家的梦想。4. To take exercise is helpful. (同义句)5. 每天走着上学得用去我三十分钟的时间。(It takes-)6. do the work/ the most important thing/well(组句)7. attract the students /my idea/by making a poster(组句)Lesson 4 教学设计教学内容: Speaking(p26) Writing(p27-28)教学目标: 通过对话练习学会leaving and taking phone messages.另外根据所给条件和信息,指导学生完成Floating listener这篇故事。教学重点: 理解对话并会表达,能准确完整完成写作任务。教学难点:学生能独立准确完成p28的条件作文。教学过程:Step1 复习上节所学语法内容,完成就不定式用法若干练习。Step2 Talk time : Leaving and taking phone messages 根据课文介绍电话留言以及捎信的问题。介绍以下句型短语:Leave a message 留言 call me back 给我回电话Be not in 不在家 right now 现在、此时Take a message 捎信 return your call 回你的电话Step3 对话练习Read the conversation below and practice it in pair. Pay attention to the words in blue.1) Im sorry 对不起2) is out at the moment 现在不在家3) Can I take a message?我能给带个信吗?4) My name is -5) My phone number is-6) Ill ask-to return your call 我将让-给你回电话Step4 Writing 写作练习In groups, look at the pictures and then complete the diagram.
