外国语学校(小学部)2012-2013学年第一学期江苏牛津6A英语教学设计Unit 1 Public signs教材分析:Public signs是牛津小学英语6A的第一单元。本单元主要围绕“公共标志”这个话题开展各项活动,所涉及到的日常交际项目有介绍、询问、忠告和建议等,其中,以“询问公共标志含义”及其应答为重点内容。学情分析:学生们在日常生活中对“公共标志”并不陌生,但作为一个话题谈论是会有一定困难的。为了使学生更好地掌握本单元的学习内容, 教学前,我们可以布置些作业,让学生去搜集一些公共标志,这样在教学中学生是带着目的学习的,增强他们的学习效率。考虑到对话篇幅较长,学生一下子不能消化,我们可以采用分段教学,使学生在有限的时间里牢固地掌握新知,也能使学生更好地理解对话的意思。 课时安排:3课时Section 1Teaching aims:1 能正确地听,说,读,写单词mean, must, should ,shouldnt2 能正确地听,说,读,写句型What does it/this/that mean? It means you/we must/should/shouldnt3 能正确地听,说,读单词及词组public, sign, danger, away, grass, keep off, quiet, make noise, smoke, litter,Keep off the grass. Be quiet. No smoking. No littering. No parking. No eating and drinking. Do not touch. Teaching points:1 能正确地听,说,读,写单词mean, must, should ,shouldnt2 能正确地听,说,读,写句型What does it/this/that mean? What did you see there? Did you see any signs?T: The signs we see in public we call them public signs. 板书public signsStep 2 Presentation1 T: Please look at the public sign. Where can you see it?S1: I can see it in the hospital.S2: I can see it in the shopping center.S3: In the library.(启发学生做一个细心的,对生活处处留心的人,以培养学生的观察能力)T: All right. Thank you. And what does it mean? It means we should smoke.(边做吸烟的动作) Right or wrong?S: No, it means we shouldnt smoke.T: Great! Look at the public sign. What does it mean?S: It means be quiet.T: So we shouldnt make noise here.Step2 Presentation and practice 1 T: Now I want to ask you some questions. Can you answer me ? TEACH: ask question 2 呈现教室场景,引出no littering ,师生对话。 T: Where are you now? S: We are in the classroom. T: What does this sign mean ? S: It means “No littering”. 3 呈现医院和危楼,同桌操练对话,询问不同标志的意义,从中引出一些新授单词和短语:stay away from ;在对学生进行评价时,引出always (You always did good jobs.) 4 揭题: T:带读标志 What are they ? S: They are public signs. T: They mean different things. TEACH: public signs , mean different things5 呈现公园场景,师生对话 T: Where are they now ? S: They are near the park. T: What does this sign mean? S: It means no parking. 呈现课文中的两个人物 T: Who is the tall boy ? S: He is Ben. T: The little boy is Bens cousin , Jack . How old is Jack ? Guess! 引出He is only four years old. TEACH : cousin only years old T: Now lets listen to the tape .(背景部分)6 听录音并回答问题Questions :1. What day is it?2. What does Jack see in the park?3. Whats Jack doing now?7 T: Does Jack learn a lot from Ben ? Now lets listen to the tape , then answer my questions.学生欣赏部分FLASH课文对话,回答问题:Questions:1. How many public signs does Jack learn?2. They are Ben and Jack. How old is Jack? What did he see in the park? What is he doing?根据学生回答的问题,给出提示,学生可根据提示复述出课文的前部分Saturday, Ben and Jack ( cousin), in the park, Jack 4 years old, have questions, see some public sings, ask questions.2 Public signs mean _ _.让学生填空了解对话的开头。3 和学生复习三个标志,并练习三组对话Danger keep off the grass be queit.Step2 Presentation1 T: Today well go to the park. First, I have a request for you. That is “follow my orders”. Can you? Ss: Yes. (T出示准备好的动词词组中英文正反面卡片:take a walk, look around, pick up, come up, point to,请一位S上台,看T手中的其中一张卡片做出相应动作)T(对全班说):Whats he doing? Hes taking a walk. Take a walk, take a walk.(T出示该词组板书,Ss 跟读并做出相应动作。)(同法教学look around, pick up, come up, point to)(T引导Ss说出这些词组,Ss边读边记忆做动作。Ss看屏幕,做连线题,左边是五个英文词组,右边是中文。Ss齐读,T 可请Ss做些造句练习)2 T: Good. Now lets go to the park.
