Honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen, What is a successful junior middle school student? Everybody has his own interpretations just as I do. But there is one thing for sure, that is, a successful junior middle school student should be full of confidence and never give up.Once I believed I was a loser. Three years ago I entered a junior middle school. Each time I was home, I locked myself in my small bedroom. I was afraid of seeing my parents. One day, one of my schoolmates was invited to give a speech to us. To my surprise, he is disabled. I was deeply moved by his confidence and diligence. Later I learnt that hes a successful businessman in my city. I have a sound body, and there is no excuse for me to be irresponsible for myself. With the teachers help, I made a daily schedule and stick to it. Every day I get up at 6 oclock. I practice my skills for an hour. I work hard in the classroom to learn all my subjects in the day. Every night, after finishing my homework, I spend one hour on my majoraccounting. Every month, my school holds all kinds of skill contests, such as counting money, playing abacus, calculating vouchers, doing practical accounts and so on. And to my happiness, I always can do a good job. Im so proud of myself. Every summer vacation, I take a part-time job in the bank near my home to gain working experience. Fortunately, my efforts did work. One year ago, I got a Certificate of Accounting Professional. One month ago, I took a college entrance examination and twenty days ago, I learnt that I got 620 in the exam and I could be admitted into a key university. Im so proud that I can have an opportunity to receive further education. When I think about my three years in my school, I am full of gratitude. I should thank my country. It offers me free education. Every junior middle school student can learn without any economic burden. And if the family is poor, students can ask for economic aid from charity to support their family. I should thank my school. It gives me good education. In my school, every teacher loves us and treats us as their friends. Whenever I meet difficulties in my study, I will turn to them for help. All of them always answer my questions patiently. I should thank my head teacher, Ms. Xu. Every summer vacation and winter vacation, Ms. Xu will visit my home and chat with my parents. She pays much attention to the contact between teachers and parents. Little by little, she helps me build up my confidence and makes me move on to realize my dream.I should thank my parents. Whenever I feel discouraged, my father gives his strong shoulders for me to lean on. Whenever I make progress, my mother is always there to share my happiness. They love me so much.So my friends, all roads lead to Rome. Im a junior middle school. Im proud of myself. So even though we seem to have made a compromise with each choice, even though we seem to have wasted a lot of efforts with each failure, I believe there is no absolute losing. We are gaining something every step of the way.So ladies and gentlemen, maybe the path you take may not be ideal, but thats not the end of the world. Break
