Were trying to save the earth!第三课时Section A(Grammar Focus4c)【学习目标】1学习并掌握新词汇:reusable,afford,transportation2学习并会用以下常用表达:try to do sth.,used to do sth.,is/are doing,be considered,take part in,play a part in doing sth.,help with,help out,turn off,instead of,pay for,add up,afford to do sth.,notany longer,take action,Its difficult for sb.to do sth.【学习重点】掌握背诵Grammar Focus中的句子。【学习难点】正确使用本课语法要点。Recently,the problem of environmental pollution is getting more and more serious.The air pollution,noise pollution and water pollution are found on the newspaper everywhere.It is obvious that we should do something to protect our earth.Then the teacher can lead into the new lesson by asking and answering questions.Task 1Review the words on P100,read the words by phonetic symbols.Then draw new words in line and mark Chinese meaning.【学法指导】afford 承担得起,买得起 通常与can,could,be able to 连用。afford to do sth.负担得起做某事 cant afford to do sth.不能负担做某事如: We cant afford to wait any longer to take action.我们再也等不起了,要采取行动。情景导入生成问题Teacher:Have you ever taken part in an environment project? How should you do to save the environment?Students:We can_. turn off the lights when_. use the paper bags _. walk to school_.自学互研生成能力Task 1Lets read the new words and phrases.1I can read.(我会读)预习下列单词和短语,争取自己能正确拼读。拼读成功后再在课文中把单词和短语标记出来。take part in,reusable,afford,transportation,pay for,take action2I can write.(我会写)翻译下列短语:(1)参加take_part_in(2)负担不起做某事cant_afford_to_do_sth.(3)采取行动take_action (4)关掉turn_off_(5)付费pay_for (6)累加add_up(7)使用公共交通use_public_transportationTask 2Lets sum up about the Passive voice,Present perfect,Present progressive and Modal verbs.1I can translate.( 我会译)完成下列句子。(1)我们正在尽力拯救地球。We are_trying to save the earth.(2)这条河里过去这样干净。The river used_to_be so clean.(3)空气被严重受到污染。 The air is_badly_polluted(4)没有科学的研究显示鲨鱼鳍对健康有益。No scientific studies have_shown that shark fins are good_for health.(5)我们应当帮助拯救鲨鱼。We should_help_save the sharks.2I can practice.(我会练)完成P100 页4a 和4b 的练习。3I can make conversations.(我会编对话)根据4c 的提示,编一段对话介绍自己的对环境保护的策略。4I can summarize.(我会总结)(1)现在进行时:概念:表示现阶段或说话时正在进行的动作及行为。时间状语:now,at this time,these days,etc. 基本结构:am/is/aredoing否定形式:am/is/arenotdoing一般疑问句:把be动词放于句首。(2)used to的意思是“过去经常”,其中的to是不定式符号,不是介词,所以其后接动词原形(不接动名词)。(3)现在完成时:概念:过去发生或已经完成的动作对现在造成的影响或结果,或从过去已经开始,持续到现在的动作或状态。时间状语:recently,lately,sincefor,in the past few years,etc. 基本结构:have/has_done否定形式:have/has_not_done(4)被动语态:概念:当主语为动作的承受者时,谓语要用被动语态。基本机构:“助动词be及物动词的过去分词”构成。含有情态动词的被动语态由“情态动词be及物动词的过去分词”构成。助动词be有人称、数和时态的变化,其变化规则与be作为连系动词时完全一样。(5)情态动词should后接动词原形。表示“应该,应当”。You should help your mother with the housework.你应该帮你母亲做家务。表示“可能,该(will probably)”。He should arrive soon.他可能很快就到了。Task 21Students read and translate the sentences in Grammar Focus,underline predicate verbs with Passive voice,Present perfect,Present progressive and Modal verbs.2Teacher guides students finishing practices in 4a and 4b and check the answers.3Students sum up the usage of Passive voice,Present perfect,Present progressive and Modal verbs.【学法指导】辨析:join,join in 和take part injoin:加入组织,团体,党派等,有作为其中的一个成员的含义。后面也可以加表示人的名词,表示和某人一起参加某活动。join in:加入一种具体活动。take part in:指参加会议或群众性活动等,着重说明句子主语参加该项活动并在活动中发挥作用。【备注】交流展示生成新知Preshow:Show in groups.(Time:six minutes)Task 1: First,the students read the words and phrases in groups.Then, read together and sum up the usage of the words in groups.(they can ask the teacher for help)2Ask students to turn to P100 and finish 4a,4b in the textbook.Then translate the phrases in“I can write” in Task 1 in groups.Task 2:1.First,the students discuss and check the answers in “I can translate” in Task 2 in groups.2The group leaders check the answers in 4a and 4b and they need to ask the teacher if they have problems.3The teacher give all the groups five minutes to read the conversation in 4a,and then let two students to read the dialogue.
