Unit 3 Where would you like to visit第四课时(Section B 2f-Self Check) 教学目标 1能够用目标语言来描述想去和不想去的地方。2. 写下自己的梦想,并写出如何去实现它。3了解世界,享受生活,热爱生活。 教学重难点1掌握本单元所学的生词及短语。2巩固“Where would you like.?” 句式结构,能正确、灵活运用。3进一步了解世界名胜之地。4. 能够创造性地运用所学语言一一谈论想去的地方。 教学过程Step 1Writing.1Discussion:1). Is there anyone in the world who doesnt hope or dream?2). Can dreams come true?Step2. Work on 3a.Do you have a dream? Write it down. Have a discussion about how you could achieve this dream with your partner. Together list the small steps you could take to do so.Example:Dream:Id love to have my own company one day.I can achieve that 1) by working hard at school to learn as much as I can 2) by finding out how successful people did it.3) by choosing to study the right subjects at university4) by having a “ winners” attitude: I can do this!Sample writing:Id love to have my own company one day. To make my dream come true, I should work hard at school to learn as much as I can. Then I can enter /get into a good university. At university, I choose to study the night subject so that I can have the knowledge and ability to run my company. Whats more, I will learn from the successful people in this field and find out how they did it. Finally, I think I should hold on to my dream even if I have a lot of difficulties. I think my dream will come true one day because I have a winners attitude: I can do this!Step 3: Survey:1) Complete the survey using words from the box and other words. Then survey three students. We _ to see some elephants.2.老师核对答案(1.provide2.cook3.saving4.pack5.hope)。3.用这些词语分别造句。4通过做题,让学生总结动词填空题的做题方法及应注意的问题, 如时态、语态等。5为学生提供本单元的一些重点单词和词组,exchange, need, consider, plan, mind, take it easy 等,让学生用这些单词或词组造句, 进一步加强对学生单词的运用能力的训练。教师可为学生提供一些帮助(强调本单元的重点词汇,使学生能灵活运用。)Step5Self cheek 21首先让学生说出所给图画表示的地点及愿意去的地方,说出原因。如:Id like to go.Its a wonderful place, because there are many places of interest.2选出一幅图画,根据所给开头,就所选地点进行描写,一定要用上本单元所学的句型。如有必要,老师可为学生提供一些帮助。如:the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Big Ben in London, the Sydney Opera House in Australia and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, .3让英语成绩比较好的几个学生朗读他们的短文。Step 5Homework1以“My ideal place for a trip” 为题 , 写一篇短文。2用“I want to visit the place where.” 结构写五个英语句子。For fun: 【幽默英语】Whose Father Was the StrongerWill and Bill were quarrelling about whose father was the stronger. Will said, “Well, you know the Pacific Ocean? My fathers the one who dug the hole for it.”Bill wasnt impressed, “Well, thats nothing.
