硕士学位论文 m a s t e r st h e s i s 内容摘要 伯从二十世纪七十年代韩礼德和哈桑出版英语中的衔接一书，并创立 了衔接理论以来，衔接和连贯理论一直受到语言学界和翻译界的关注，不少国 内外专家力图确立衔接与连贯的关系及其在语篇生成中的地位。衔接被看作是 生成语篇的必要条件之一所以在语篇翻译中占有重要位置。译者对于源语和 译入语的衔接手段异同认识和把握，不仅会影响译者对原文的理解而且会 影响生成译文的质量。， 随着语篇分析和语篇翻译研究的发展，衔接涵盖的范围在不断地扩大，越 来越多的研究者正在逐步探讨衔接与阅读、写作、文本类型、文体特征以及翻 译的关系，并且进行英汉衔接手段的对比研究，分析衔接手段的异同对于翻译 的意义。但在翻译过程中如何把握和运用衔接手段方面的讨论还显得不够，对 于英汉衔接手段的差异对翻译策略的影响显得不够系统和完善。本文将对英汉 两种语言在衔接手段上存在的差异进行分类描述，分析造成这些差异的因素， 并针划萸汉语篇衔接的差异，系统性地探讨翻译策略。 本文共分六个章节。第一章简要回顾衔接理论的起源与发展、衔接与语篇 分析和语篇黜译的关系，说明作者的研究目的、范周和相关概念。 第二章介绍有关衔接的研究状况，介绍了衔接的概念、分类、衔接与连贯 的关系，以及韩礼德和哈桑、胡壮麟、张德禄等人对衔接理论的扩展研究，分 析了衔接与语篇翻译的关系。 第三章比较了英汉蹰种语言在句法结构、主题开展等方面的总体差异，提 出英汉语之间在形合与意合、主语突出与话题突出、树形结构与竹形结构、无 灵主语与有灵主语等方面的差异是造成两种语言在衔接方式上差异的根源。 第四章旨在对英汉两种语占在各种衔接手段如照应、替代、省略、连接、
