畴在特定的语境中的指示明确与否，以及所要表达的语义是否清晰明确。语言 学家从不同的视角看待语言的不确定性，从而使用了不同的语言概念，例如模 糊、含糊和歧义。国内外的学者对于语言的模糊性进行了广泛的研究，但是对 于语言的确定性和不确定性还没有深入和系统的专门研究，国外学者在这一领 域的探索也大多局限于对于英语定冠词和不定冠词的研究。为此，本文在语法 学的基础上，通过对语言的确定性与不确定性这新兴的研究领域进行系统的 分析，配合大量的例句进行阐释，重点探讨了以下几个问题：何谓语言的确定 性与不确定性；语言的确定性与不确定性主要体现以及如何体现在哪些语法范 畴当中：对于语言的确定性与不确定性的研究有何现实意义。 本文简要介绍语言确定性和不确定性的研究现状，以及国内外学者提出的 几个和确定性与不确定性紧密相关的观点和概念，并且对一系列确定词和不确 定词作了简要的归纳。 本文的理论研究集中在第二章，在语法学的基础上，详细地分析了确定性 与不确定性在语言的各个语法范畴中的体现，涉及到的语法范畴主要是英语中 的修饰语，限定词，代词以及专有名词。对于每一部分的阐述，本文都提供了 大量的例句加以具体分析，使读者对于语言的确定性与不确定性有直观的认识 和深入的理解。 论文的第三章从理论和实践两个方面，探讨了语言的确定性和不确定性的
