一样，英语写作也是交际的一部分，同时也是四项基本技能中最薄弱的一部分。然 而，由于写作技巧方面的问题，大学生们能写出通顺的英语作文并不很多，很多同 学在试图用英语表达时累犯错误，很伤脑筋。由此可见，写作教师有必要给学生提 供有效的办法来帮助学生克服写作方面的障碍。 过去三十年里，许多写作方面的学者对英语写作过程进行了大量的研究，并为 英语写作教学奠定了理论基础。然而，学生的英语写作的能力并不令人满意。因此， 写作教师在指导学生写作时，既要考虑培养写作策略，又要考虑语言技能的发展。 本文主要讨论了大学生在英语写作中常出现的问题，分析了学生们在写作中常犯的 错误，对传统的写作途径进行了批判和吸收，并结合作者的教学经验提出了修改与 讲评的途径，旨在通过修改和讲评的策略来提高学生的写作能力，同时也为学生的 语言技能的全面发展打下基础。
