摘要本研究以增添理论和心理词汇理论为依据，通过实验，考察与测试了三种不同的词汇呈现方式所产生的不同的英语词汇学习与记忆效果。实验选取五十八名大学一年级学生为受试，4 5 个英语单词为实验材料。实验中受试接受两次测试( 短时记忆测试和长时记忆测试) ，分别在采用每一种呈现方式呈现目标词汇一小时和一星期以后进行。测试数据采用社会科学统计软件包( s p s s1 2 0 版本) 进行统计处理。数据分析结果显示以下发现：( 1 ) 在短时记忆测试中，词汇学习与记忆的效果呈递减趋势：呈现方式一效果最好，方式二次之，方式三最差；( 2 ) 长时记忆测试中，词汇学习与记忆的效果逐步递增，词 _ e i 2 , 忆量依次是：使用方式一最小。方式二稍大，方式三最大；( 3 ) 在分别使用三种呈现方式的条件下，受试的短时记忆测试平均成绩具有差异，但其差异尚未达到显著性水平；( 4 ) 在分别使用三种呈现方式的情况f ，受试的长时记忆平均成绩表现出差异性，而且使用方式三和方式一时的差异达到显著性水平；( 5 ) 使用每一种呈现方式的前后两次测试平均成绩都具有显著性差异，但表现出不同程度的遗忘( 记忆量损失) 趋势：使用前两种呈现方式的记忆量衰减程度更大，遗忘发展趋势更加急剧，相比之下，使用第三种呈现方式的记忆量损失稍小，遗忘趋势相对较为平缓。基于以上发现以及相关解释和讨论，我们得到如一f 研究结论：( 1 ) 英语词汇教学中，呈现方式与词汇学习和记忆效果之间关系密切，不同的呈现方式会产生不同的词汇学习与日| 乙效果；( 2 )
