、一4 ， ? 五 论关联理论在翻译中的适用性 摘要 翻译是跨文化交际的一项重要手段，而翻译学家和学者们关于翻译的论述 也是多种多样，有如汗牛充栋，但大多数似乎都没有从翻译的本质的角度对翻译 进行探讨和研究，从而对一些根本问题也存在着歧异，未能达成一致意见。然而， 关联理论的出现为翻译研究指明了新的方向，引领翻译学家和学者们从翻译的本 体论意义上来解释翻译现象。 本文采用定性分析的方法探讨了关联理论在翻译中的适用性，以便用关联理 论来指导翻译活动。关联理论是一种新兴的语用学理论，它关注的核心问题是交 际与认知。关联理论和翻译有着很好的兼容性，前者能够从本体论意义上解释后 者这一复杂的语码转换现象，并把翻译看成是一个对源语进行( 语内和语际) 阐释 的明示一推理活动。在语码转换过程中，关联性起着关键的作用，决定着译者对 译文的理解程度及其对译文信息的取舍。此外，关联理论对翻译有着强大的解释 力。在关联理论的框架内，翻译是可能的；翻译重在交际效度的实现，并在保证 交际效度实现的前提下，尽量使译文向原文趋同；缺省是翻译过程中不可避免的， 它归因于人类认知处理方面的局限性和语言文化本身的特异性。鉴于翻译行为动 态的认知关联特征，本文又进一步提出了把最佳关联的传递看作是翻译批评的标 准。
