中文提要 在全球化的时代，移民的身份认同问题成为文化研究的一个热点问题。身 份认同的问题，既是一个关于移民社会政治处境的问题，从全球化的兔度讲， 也是一个富有生存论意味的问题。而处于种族和性别双重边缘的美国华裔女性 如何探寻她们的族裔身份和性别身份自然就成为文学界乃至文化界关注的对 象。美籍华裔作家谭恩美的喜福会正是对这一主题的探讨。本文运用了后 殖民理论，尤其采用了霍米巴巴的“文化杂交”理论。借此理论，并以喜 福会中两代女性的身份问题为模板，作者着重探讨了美国华裔第一代以及第 二代女性移民的身份困惑及其身份探寻的过程。 通过对美国华裔女性移民的身份寻求的分析，本文认为，在当前全球化的 社会中，美国华裔女性移民的身份已经成为了“文化杂交”的产物，她们的身 份既不属于东方，也不属于西方，而是处于东西方边缘的“第三空间”。在她
