哈尔滨t 稗人学硕十学何论文 摘要 勿失良辰是索尔贝娄著名的中篇小说之一。本文着眼于犹太文化 和美国文化的双重语境，不仅揭示了犹太民族的生存困境，同时也揭示了整 个西方社会人们的生存困境，这正是贝娄在勿失良辰中对世界文学做出 的巨大贡献。 从犹太文化层面来看，小说中几乎每个人物都处于身体和精神双重流放 的状态并受到大屠杀意识的影响。从美国文化层面来看，主人公汤米是一个 为自己的美国梦而奋斗但最后梦想破灭的典型人物。同时，爱默生思想中的 个人主义精神，对灵魂、对过去与现在的看法影响着小说中的每一个人，在 泰姆金身上体现得最为明显。文中论及了文化磨合同化，通过犹太文化与美 国文化的冲突及文明与野蛮的冲突充分得以体现。文中最后揭示了勿失良 辰的世界性。在勿失良辰的修正版本中，贝娄删去了犹太民族的标志 一大卫之星，异化主题从作品人物生动地展现出来，从而得出结论：勿失良
