辽宁师范大学硕士学位论文 摘要 一百多年以来，教育家们一直以语言、数学和逻辑能力培养作为教育的中心，智商 一直是衡量个体成功与否的重要砝码。随着时代的改变和经济的发展，越来越多的教育 者开始意识到教育也应该随着这些发展发生相应的改变。在诸多改变中，加德纳认为人 的智能不应该只局限于单一的智能，即智商。他提出了七种智能，即语文、逻辑、空 间、肢体运作、音乐、人际和内省智能。加德纳的多元智能理论认为，对于大多数 的个体来说，这些智能是可以得到全面发展，并可以达到一个相当高水平的。由此， 一个人学术、事业和生活上的成功仅靠智商已经远远得不到满足了。一个全新的维 度，情商如今成为了衡量一个人成功与否的另一重要标准。情商是情绪智力的度量， 最早由格尔曼提出。情绪智力是个体监控自己及他人的情绪和情感，并识别和利用 这些信息指导自己的思想和行为的能力。情绪智力包括四项技能：入际交往能力、 领导能力、个人控制能力和内省能力，与加德纳的多元智能理论中最后两个智能有 很多相似点。多元智能理论和情绪智力理论强调个体的全面发展，与中国素质教育 中提高受教育者诸方面素质的目标一致。 本文就大连两所高校学生的情绪智力水平进行调查和研究，提出了三个研究问 题，包括： l i 情绪智力各个技能之间有没有相关联系? 如果有，是什么样的联系? 2 高校学生情绪智力技能的平均水平达到什么程度? 3 由于性别和专业的差异，个人的情绪智力水平有何差异? 论文的调查问卷基于尼尔森和罗伊( 1 9 9 9 ) 设计的一份问卷，并根据受访者的特点 做了相应的调整。利用s p s s 统计分析软件，本文从1 0 个变量对数据加以分析。数据处 理和分析表明，情绪智力各个技能之间存在相关正相关或者负相关的联系。了解这些联 系，英语教师可以更准确地对学生进行评估，并针对学生的薄弱环节对教学策略、材料 和课堂活动进行相应调整。分析还发现，受访对象的七项情绪智力技能需要得到加强， 而另外三项则需要加以开发。此外，由于专业和性别差异，受访对象的情绪智力水平也 呈现不同。这些给英语教师的启示是在教学过程中采用多元智能教学方法，针对学生的 个体差异进行教学活动。另外一个启发就是推荐现行教育体制引入情商测试，结合传统
