特殊地位。正是勒菲弗尔提出一切翻译都是改写，改写受到诗学、意识形态、赞助 人因素在各个方面的操控的观点，突出了文化因素在翻译过程中的重要地位，凸现 了译者的主体作用，推动了翻译研究的文化转向。改写理论在具体的翻译研究中也 具有重要作用，它为我们提供了从诗学、意识形态、赞助人因素等方面来研究翻译 的思路，并能有效解释译者为什么选择了某文本，为什么在翻译过程中做出了这样 或那样的改写，为什么译语文本在译语文化中取得了某种地位等具体问题，使我们 能更深刻地认识翻译现象。 加里斯耐德翻译的寒山诗是翻译史上一个十分特殊的现象。首先，寒山及其 诗歌在中国本土始终未入主流地位，然而经由翻译这一媒介，寒山及其诗歌在美国 大放异彩，寒山成为“垮掉的一代”以及嬉皮士的精神偶像，斯奈德翻译的寒山诗 也成为美国文学的经典之作。其次，斯奈德的翻译并不十分忠实原文，表现出明显 的“改写”痕迹，实为改写的典型案例。有鉴于此，本文尝试以安德烈勒菲弗尔 的改写理论为理论基础，以斯奈德的英译寒山诗为研究对象，深入研究诗学、意识 形态、赞助人等因素对斯奈德翻译寒山诗在各个方面的影响和操控，这些方面主要 包括文本选择、具体翻译过程以及寒山诗在译语文化中的接受情况。 论文由五个章节组成。第一章首先介绍了此项研究的背景、意义以及论文的基 本结构。第二章对原作、原作者、译作和译者进行了简要介绍。第三章是理论基础， 对改写理论进行了简明扼要的阐述。第四章是论文的主体部分，该章以改写理论为 基础，对斯奈德翻译的寒山诗进行了系统、深入的分析。作者首先指出，斯奈德翻 译的寒山诗具有明显的改写特征，这具体表现：一、斯奈德选择的2 4 首寒山诗没 有反应出寒山诗的全貌，因而创造出一个与真实的寒山不同的形象，是一定程度的
