一摘要语言与性别研究是社会语言学所关注的主要课题之一。幽默作为一种语言现象是目前语言学研究的热点之一。本文就是从语用学和社会语言学的角度出发，通过分析男女在日常会话中对语用原则中的合作原则，言语行为理论的遵守与违反，去发现男女在会话中的差异，从而更好地进行异性会话交际，减少两性之间的误解。宋飞正传是2 0 世纪9 0 年代美国最受推崇的情景喜剧之一。故事的设定就是展示普通人的平凡生活，但其中趣事逸闻笑料不断。许多剧集都是根据剧作者们的真实经历改编，更贴近真实生活。本文选取了该剧中9 5 段日常对话并把它们按性别进行分类，具体分为同性别组( 全男性组和全女性组) 和混合组来研究男女会话幽默的特点。通过对本文所收集的语料数据进行整理和分析我们发现：会话幽默在同性别组和混合组中既有相同点也有不同点。阐述类幽默在各组别中高于其它类；在混合组中指令类幽默仅次于阐述类。男性在全男性群体中较常出现提问类幽默；而女性在混合组中才表现出此特点。除此以外，男女在同性别组中都更多地使用攻击性幽默功能，而在混合组中出现的幽默则主要是发挥其维持和谐性的功能。最后，总结全文，同时也指出了本研究的局限性，并对未来研究提出了建议。关键词：会话幽默；性别；合作原则：言语行为理论t
