摘要 幽默在我们的只常交际中发挥着重要作用，对幽默的理论研究已成为- - 1 7 独立学科。随着人类社会科学的发展，学者们对幽默的研究也不断深化，延伸到 包括修辞学在内的许多领域。 修辞手段是“在特定的语境罩，创造性的运用全民语言而形成的具有特殊修 辞效果的言语形式”。幽默语言通常是经过修辞调整的一种富有意趣的语言。所以 许多修辞手段都已成为幽默的常见载体。英汉幽默语言中常用的修辞手段有着相 同或相似点，但是由于英语和汉语分别属于两种不同的语系，在词的构成、词形 的变化、句法结构等方面均存在很大差异，两种语言在运用幽默的修辞手段时必 然会出现差异。另外，由于历史不同，风俗习惯和生活环境相异，这些文化因素 都会影响到修辞手段在幽默语言中的运用。既然英汉幽默语言在修辞手段上存在 各自的特点，把它们加以对比研究就很有必要了。 基于以上认识，本文对英汉幽默语言中的夸张和仿拟两种修辞手段进行了对 比分析，以发现它们的异同，为读者理解和欣赏幽默提供帮助。 作为幽默语言中常用的修辞手段，夸张和仿拟在英语和汉语中既有相同或相 似之处，也存在一定的差异。对夸张和仿拟的对比分析，本文主要采用c a r l 的 对比分析方法，从定义、分类、语言类型和文化因素等方面进行了讨论；试图对 以下三问题进行探索和分析。这三个问题是1 、修辞手段在幽默语占中的应用； 2 、英语和汉语中夸张和仿拟的相同和不同之处；3 、造成这些不同的语言和社会 文化因素。 研究结果表明： ( 一) 修辞手段在幽默语言中起着重要作用。幽默语言是一种经过修辞调整的富 有意趣的语言形式，而修辞手段则是通过利用这种对语言形式的调整而达到幽默 效果的， ( 二) 一种修辞手段，夸张在英语和汉语中具有相同的本质，都是利用夸大事实 来达到幽默的修辞效果。但是二者在分类上存在着不同。超前夸张是汉语特有的 夸张种类，而利用介词短语、名词短语则是英语夸张的独特表达方法。 ( 三) 仿拟在英语和汉语中的定义基本一致，都是利用模仿已有的语言形式，改 变其中的词语，来表达新的意义。但是由于汉语中存在相对多的单语素词，仿词 在汉语中运用的相对较多。 ( 四) 英语和汉语两种语言中的文化因素也会影响到夸张和仿拟的运用，所以读 者必须对夸张和仿拟中所蕴涵的文化因素有清楚的了解和认识，才能真正理解和 欣赏其中的幽默。 希望通过此研究，能够对英语和汉语中夸张和仿拟的相同和不同有一个比较 清楚的认识，并给读者对两种修辞手段中的幽默的理解和欣赏提供一定的帮助。 关键词：函默、修辞手段、夸张、仿拟 a b s t r a c t a sal a n g u a g ep h e n o m e n o n ，h u m o rp
