美国文学呈现了新的特色。美国华裔文学是中美两种文化碰撞的结果，而又呈 现出鲜明的个性与特色。由于美籍华人特殊的生活经历和社会地位，美籍华裔 作家具备了双重的文化身份，他们意识到美籍华人的双重民族和文化属性，以 自己独特的体验和视角解析美籍华人在中美两种文化的差异和冲突中寻求文化 融合的过程。谭恩美是美籍华裔作家的代表之一，其作品接骨师之女便展 现了这种文化的冲突和融合。 本文旨在从接骨师之女中的女性心理分析中美文化的冲突与融合，从 接骨师之女中美籍华裔女性的心理分析入手，运用女性主义批评理论和族 裔批评理论，分析了美籍华裔女性在美国这个新环境下的心理状况，逐渐从不 适应与抗拒新环境走向适应与融入新环境的过程以及环境的变迁对她们的心理 转变产生的影响。本文运用她们在中美两种文化的熏陶下对生存环境独特的感 受，分别从来自中美两种不同社会的影响、美籍华裔女性性别意识的觉醒和华 裔美籍女性族裔身份的认同等方面分析了中美两种文化在她们身上冲突与融合 的过程。 本文反映了接骨师之女中美籍华裔女性在中美两种文化差异下的痛苦 挣扎与徘徊，最终走向了理解与融合的过程。反观这种文化的冲突与融合，研 究华裔在美移民的奋斗史，提出了研究美国华裔文学的意义之所在。
