(b)Fiftypercent(50%)oftheproceedsofanylicensegrantedtoanotherPublishertobringoutareprinteditionoftheWork. (c)NoroyaltiesshallbepayableofcopiesfurnishedtotheAuthororoncopiesforreview,sample,orothersimilarpurposes,oroncopiesdestroyed. TheAuthororhisdulyauthorizedrepresentativesshallhavetherightuponwrittenrequesttoexaminethebooksofaountofthePublisherinsofarastheyrelatetotheWorkandanyotheroftheAuthorsworksundercontracttothePublisher.SuchexaminationshallbeatthecostoftheAuthorunlesserrorsofaountingamountingtofivepercent(5%)ormoreofthetotalsumpaidtotheAuthorshallbefoundtohisdisadvantage,inwhichcasethecostshallbebornebythePublisher. 8.OVERPAYMENT InallinstancesinwhichtheAuthorshallhavereceivedanoverpaymentofmoniesunderthetermshereof,thePublishermaydeductsuchoverpaymentfromanyfurthersumspayabletotheAuthorinrespecttotheWork. 9.NOTIFICATIONANDPAYMENT ThePublisheragreespromptlytoadvisetheAuthorofthetermsofanycontractsenteredintoforanygrantorlicensepermittedunderthisagreementwhenevertheAuthorsshareoftheproceedsorroyaltyisonehundreddollars($100.00)ormore.SuchcontractsshallbemadeavailablebythePublishertotheAuthororhisrepresentativeattheofficeofthePublisher,andacopythereofwillbefurnishedtheAuthoruponhiswrittenrequest.TheAuthorsshareofsuchproceedsorroyaltyshallbepromptlypaidtohimuponreceiptbythePublisher. 10.AUTHORSCOPIES TheAuthorshallbepermittedtopurchasecopiesforhispersonaluseatadiscountoffortypercent(40%)oftheretailprice. 11.STATEMENTSANDPAYMENTS ThePublisheragreestorendersemi-annualstatementsonJuly31andJanuary31ineachyearfollowingthepublicationhereof,showinganaountofsalesandallotherpaymentsduehereundertoJune31andDecember31precedingsaidrespectiveaountingdates.Paymentthendueshallaompanysuchstatements. 12.REVERSIONANDTERMINATION (a)Atanytimeaftertwoyearsfromthedateoffirstpublication,butnotbefore,thePublishermayonthreemonthsnoticeinwritingtotheAuthororhisrepresentativediscontinue publication,andinthateventthisagreementshallterminateandallrightshereundershallreverttotheAuthorattheexpirationofsaidthree(3)monthperiod. (b)IfthePublishershall,duringtheexistenceofthisagreement,defaultinthedeliveryof semi-annualstatementsorinthemakingofpaymentsashereinprovidedandshallneglectorrefusetodeliversuchstatementsormakesuchpayments,oranyofthem,withinthirty(30)daysafterwrittennoticeofsuchdefault,thisagreementshallterminateattheexpirationofsuchthirty(30)dayswithoutprejudicetotheAuthorsclaimforanymonieswhichmayhavearuedunderthisagreementortoanyotherrightsandremediestowhichtheAuthormaybeentitled. (c)IfthePublishershallfailtopublishtheWorkwithintheperiodinParagraph4provided,orotherwisefailtoplywithorfulfillthetermsandconditionshereof,orintheeventof bankruptcy,etc.,asinParagraph13hereofprovided,thisagreementshallterminateandtherightshereingrantedtothePublishershallreverttotheAuthor.InsucheventallpaymentstheretoforemadetotheAuthorshallbelongtotheAuthorwithoutprejudicetoanyotherremedieswhichtheAuthormayhave.
