世界观的形成具有非同一般的作用。在儿童文学作品这一繁荣的市场中，儿章 文学作品的翻译严重匮乏，在理论和实践方面都存在一定程度的问题。 任何翻译都必须有明确的目的为指导，对于儿童文学作品的翻译，由于译 文读者的特殊性，更需如此。对于儿童文学作品的翻译，其明确的目的、恰当 的翻译、充分的理解是决定翻译成功与否的关键因素。因此，本文以德国功能 翻译派的目的论为理论指导，通过回顾儿章文学作品的发展历程及其概念、特 点，得出儿童文学的翻译要根据其翻译目的进行，并通过详细的例证，解释在 目的论的指导下，对儿童文学作品如何进行翻译。 本文分为五个部分： 第一章介绍了儿童在不同年龄阶段的认知特点，儿童文学的相关知识，例 如：儿章文学的定义、特点及功能。 第二章简略介绍了我国儿童文学翻译发展史中的四个阶段及“儿章本位” 这一主要思想。 第三章为儿童文学翻译理论，系统的介绍德国功能翻译理论目的论产生的 背景、发展过程以及一些主要的概念，例如：目的，文化因素等。 第四章是论文的核心所在。首先，简要地介绍本文所选用的文本t h e a d v e n t u r eo f t o ms a w y e r 及其作者m a r kt w a i n ，其次对所选的两个中文译本也进 行简要的介绍。之后，作者通过翔实的翻译例证从文化、选词、修辞这三个方 面对所选实例进行对比、分析，论证翻译目的决定翻译方法，目的论适用于对 儿章文学作品的翻译。 第五章是对本文的总结。作者提出了出在目的论的指导下，儿章文学作品 翻译的普遍原则。 本文旨在抛砖引玉。希望能够通过对儿章文学作品翻译的研究，引起我国 译界的关注，并为进一步构建儿童文学作品翻译理论做出贡献。
