中文摘要 摘要 典故在古典戏剧当中甚多，承载着许多文化方面的信息。本文从归化和异化 两种翻译策略入手对西厢记中典故进行了研究。归化以目的语文化为归宿， 提倡使用目的语文化本身的表达方式，反对引入源语文化的表达方式；而异化则 以源语文化为归宿，主张保留源语文化的特有表达方式。 鉴于归化到异化是一个连续的过程，本文作者将这一过程分成5 个等级，并 根据翻译过程中文化的保留程度确定每一等级所采用的具体翻译方法。 本文作者用定性与定量相结合的方法，对两个英译本进行详细的对比和分 析。作者通过建立西厢记汉语原文与两部英文全译本，即熊式一与许渊冲的 全译本的平行语料库，并在语料库的中英文文本段落层面对齐，从西厢记及 其两译本中随机抽取了8 1 个典故进行分析。 该研究表明，尽管他们在翻译过程中都采用了归化和异化策略，但均有其各
