One of the primary causes is that watching TV is bad for our eyes. The prevalence of watching TV is one of the reasons which make more students wear spectacles. More important, some children are always addicted to it. The enormous diversity of the performances attracts the vision of the children, so they pay less attention to their study. Last but not least, people spend so much time on watching TV that they do not have sufficient time to think by themselves, so it is bad for peoples thinking ability.To this issue, some other people argue that televisions make contributions to our life. The main reason is that televisions supply a more instant approach for people to gain much useful information. Before having televisions, people can just get some knowledge from reading material, but it wastes too much time and money. Next, it can make us relaxed after working for a whole day. Most people are used to sitting on their sofas and watching TV so that make their mood better. Finally, it broadens peoples horizons. People live in different domains all over the world, but they also know what happened in other countries every day by the broadcast from televisions.In my opinion, I stand on the latter opinion that while watching TV has its drawbacks, the advantages are more obvious.
