l ij 东大学硕f j 学位论文 摘要 听力是英语教学的重要组成部分，是阅读、写作和口语等能力发展的基础。然而， 目前的中国大学英语听力教学并不是十分令人满意。听力教学常常是以讲解词汇和语 法知识为主。在听的过程中，学生是被动的接受者。这种教学方法严重挫伤了学生的 主动性，妨碍了学生的学习兴趣和创造力。这样的英语听力教学不能有效地培养学生 的听力技能，也不利于学生听力理解能力的提高。针对当前大学英语听力教学的状况， 学生听力理解能力普遍较低的现实，改革传统低效的听力教学方法，研究与探讨科学、 高效的英语听力教学模式已势在必行。 听力，和阅读一样，历来被认为是一种消极被动的听辨过程。然而，随着对听力 理解过程的进一步研究，发现听力是一个需要听者积极参与，是一个牵涉到合成与分 析，语言知识与背景知识相互撞击，相互作用的主动的心理过程。图式理论为这一发 现提供了有力的理论基础。图式理论认为，背景知识在听力理解过程中起着举足轻重 的作用，听力理解就是听者的语言知识、背景知识与外来信息相互作用的结果。听者 对新信息的理解在很大程度上取决于是否激活了相关的背景知识。因此，图式理论对 听力教学有着积极的指导意义。 本文试图探讨大学英语教师可如何具体操作，将图式理论应用于听力课堂教学。 本文首先对大学英语听力教学现状进行了回顾，然后论述了图式理论和听力教学，以 及图式对听力理解的作用。然后，在此基础上提出基于图式理论的英语听力教学模式， 即以听前、听中、听后为框架的课堂听力教学模式。该模式旨在合理、有效地提高大 学英语听力教学效果和学生的听力理解能力。在论文撰写过程中，笔者进行了一次为 期三个月的教学试验，对图式理论的英语听力教学模式进行了教学实践，从中获取到 相关数据，对该英语听力教学模式的有效性进行了验证。结果发现，与传统的英语听 力教学模式相比，基于图式理论的英语听力教学模式能够更有效地提高学生的英语听 力水平。 关键词：听力：图式理论；应用 a b s t r a c t l i s t e n i n gi sav i t a lc o m p o n e n to
