雄的。其成长过程反映出一个道理：作为自然的一部分，一个英雄首先是一个普通人， 他也有着遵循自然的本能反应。自然主义关注中下层人们的生活状态，于是克莱恩所描 写的英雄主义也更谦卑，更无奈。他所塑造的英雄更像是我们每天可以看到的普通人一 样，甚至还不如一些普通人勇敢。本文就将通过对红色英勇勋章中带有自然主义色 彩的英雄主义的分析，揭示出另一种被大众所接受的英雄主义，使之更贴近生活，更能 引起共鸣。 本文主体将分为四个部分，第一部分主要介绍什么是英雄主义和自然主义，从而分 析出斯蒂芬克菜恩笔下的英雄主义；第二部分则借对古希腊神话和小说中典型英雄形 象的描述分析主人公亨利弗莱明作为自然地一部分、作为一个普通人有着自身的瑕疵 他胆小、虚荣并且急于掩盖自己的错误；第三部分则着重列举哪些具体的自然环境 导致了主人公从普通人变为一个英雄，并且突出描写了亨利弗莱明激烈的心理斗争过
