ca d v e r t i s i n gs l o g a nn 加s l a t i o n s ，t r a i l s l a t i o ns 仃a t e g i e s a b s t r a c ti nc h i n e s e 中国由于综合国力及经济水平的提高已与其他三个发展中国家巴西， 俄罗斯，印度一起被称为“金砖四国”。中国社会购买力水平的提高吸引了众多 海外投资。同中国国内生产商竞争的海外企业，竭尽所能吸引中国消费者购买 其产品或服务。对于海外企业而言，无论在本国市场还是中国市场， 广告都是产品能否在竞争中取胜的关键因素。而广告翻译则是海外企业在国外 市场竞争中首要考虑的问题之一。其中广告词翻译是广告翻译的重要组成部分 ，它直接影响产品能否被海外市场接受。 广告词有广义和狭义之分。广义的广告词包括标题和正文，而狭义的广告词 则单指标题。本文的研究对象为狭义的广告词。广告词的目的即是通过一句话描 述产品特征，吸引读者，深化品牌印象，促成消费者购买行为。在目标市场打入 广告时，由于语言、文化、意识形态等差异，广告词的翻译标准也不能简单的以 传统的 “忠实”，“对等”原则来判断翻译的好坏。广告文体是一种实用性文体， 具有其特殊的目的与功能，只有当广告词翻译译文在海外市场达到了其吸引消费 者购买产品的目的，才算是成功的翻译。这一翻译标准正是目的论所倡导的。 凯瑟琳娜赖斯和汉斯j 弗米尔在二十世纪7 0 年代提出的目的论突破了传统的 “等值”观，是翻译理论界的创新。广告文体在赖斯的文本类型中属于以诉请为重 的文本，即施为型文本，它注重的是读者的反应。弗米尔认为翻译要对其预期的 目标和接受者起作用，是一种跨语言跨文化的交际活动。因此在目的论的指导下， 广告词翻译所采取的策略会以目标受众为中心。这意味着在中国开发市场的海外 企业，在为广告词翻译这一环节，只有更加重视汉语语言、中国文化以及中国消 费者心理，才会赢得中国消费者认可，开辟更大的市场，获得更多的商业利润。 而广告词翻译若能达到这样的效果便是优秀的翻译。 本论文旨在分析探讨目的论对广告词英汉翻译的指导意义，提出广告词英 汉翻译中译者应具备的素质及其可采取的翻译策略。本论文由五部分组成。第 一章阐述了目的论指导下的广告词英汉翻译研究的必要性、可行性和重要性。 第二章是对功能主义目的论进行客观的综述。第三章介绍广告词和广告词翻译 的重要性，并结合目的论强调广告词翻译中译者所起的重要作用及其应具备的 素质。第四章是在目的论指导下，分析对比作者所搜集的英汉广告词翻译，指 出翻译中存在问题，并提出翻译策略。第五章为结论。 关键词：广告词，汉英翻译，目的论 t a b i eo fc o n t e n t s m a s t e r sd e 铲e et h e s i s a b s t r a c t a b s t r a c ti nc h i n e s e -
