硕士学位论文 m a s t e r st h e s i s 内容摘要 本文研究在大学英语课程教学中引进计算机与网络辅助教学的可行性和其效 果。此项研究是在华中农业大学进行的湖北省教改课题“网络辅助大学英语教学改 革”的一部分。 为了证明此种新的网络与传统课堂教学相结合的教学模式的可行性，作者首先 介绍了之前的研究和相关理论：计算机辅助语言教学( c a u 0 和网络辅助教学( w a l l ) 的发展和其相关的研究；建构主义教学和学习理论；自主学习的概念和其相关理论 等。这些研究和理论为该项实验研究提供了充分的理论基础。文中还简单阐述了建 构主义与网络辅助教学，网络辅助教学与自主学习之间的相互关联。 在过去的几十年里，计算机和网络辅助教学得到了充分的发展。之前关于网络辅 助教学的研究主要从管理的角度集中在课程设置和教学效果上。虽然受到一些质 疑，但总的来说这些研究都强调了计算机技术在教学上进行应用的优势。 根据b r u n e r 的观点，建构主义是一种认知理论，认为学习是一个学习者根据其 已有的知识建构新的知识的积极主动的学习过程。而网络学习环境是能够自主获得 的综合了课程材料，在线交流渠道，多媒体和其它具有交际特色的网络资源。这种 学习环境正是建构主义理论所需要的。 d i c k s o n 认为自主学习是学习者完全为自己学习过程中的决策和实现这些决策 负责的学习形式。网络辅助语言学习正好符合自主学习的个性化学习和对学习方法 的训i 练，因而网络教学是实现和促进自主学习的最佳途径之一。 接下来作者介绍了从2 0 0 4 年秋季至现在的一项传统课堂教学与网络辅助自主 学习相结合的实验研究。统计分析结果表明在大学英语课程教学中引入网络辅助自 主学习能够起到积极作用。通过对四个问卷以及实验对象四次考试成绩的分析，结 果表明大多数学生对这种新模式持肯定态度。对学生网络资源的使用习惯的调查显 示学生通常更倾向选择他们认为有用的资源，而不是他们认为有趣的资源。我们还 发现网络辅助自主学习在起始阶段能很有效地提高学生的成绩，但从长远来看，其 效果可能与传统模式一样。 至此，可以初步得出这样的结论：在大学英语教学中，新的模式相对传统模式 有一定的优势。如果条件允许，而且技术上的障碍得到解决，这种模式是可行的。 网络辅助自主学习在将来的大学英语教学甚至整个英语教学领域起到重要作用。 根据数据分析和讨论，本文为大学英语教师们提供了一些有关教学、课程设置、 硕士学位论文 m a s t e r st h e s i s 网络内容选择等方面的经验和建议。论文最后还阐明了在网络辅助自主学习中教师 和学生各自的角色。 关键词：网络辅助自主学习；网络辅助语言学习；建构主义；大学英语教与学 问卷；学习者观点；学习者策略；学习成绩 硕士学住论文 m a s t e r st h e s i s a b s t r a c t t h i si sas t u d yo nt h ef e a s i b i l i t ya n de f f e c t so ft h er e f o r mi nt h ec o l l e g ee n 殍i s h c o u r s eb yi n t e g r a t i n gc o m p u t e ra n dw e bi n t ot h ec l a s s t h er e s e a r c hi sap a r to ft h e w e b a s s i s t e ds e l f -
