摘要 长期以来，语言教学的一个核心问题就是指明人们在语言学习中具体学习的 内容。人们通常认为语言学习的主要单位类似于描述语青时传统的层次和单位， 即语音、词汇、语法和语篇。丽从二十世纪三十年代玎始，语言学界有影响的学 者们使得英语教师意识到，某些单词倾向于和其它单词同时出现，并且流利使用 一门语言要依赖于学会使用这些单词群，即要学会一个单词是如何与其它单词搭 配使用的。 本族语者对自己语言的体验使得他能够分辨某个搭配是征确的还是错误的。 而对于外语学习者来说，出于他们接触的英语有限，使得他们往往不能构建萨确 的搭配。由此造成的对英语中某些成分共现的掌握不足使得搭配错误干扰着非本 族语者的口语和写作能力，而这种共现恰恰是自然语言的标志，并使得学习者的 话语更贴近本族语。 为了找出中国学生在英语搭配学习中的困难所在，本研究试图从以下三个方 面展丌讨论：( 1 ) 中国英语学习者词语搭配错误的主要类型是什么? ( 2 ) 造成 英语学习者词语搭配错误的主要原因是什么?
