精品文档英语阅读课教学案例与反思一、教材依据本单元选择的是仁爱版英语九年级下Module 5 Look after yourself Unit 2 Get off the sofa!内容主要围绕本单元中心任务“healthy life”而展开的,涉及出行安全、生活习惯、饮食习惯、充足睡眠、乐观心态和远离香烟等方面。这篇文章讲述了健康生活的五条基本原则,课文内贴近学生的日常生活,符合现代人的实际生活需要。通过阅读,教育学生如何养成良好的生活习惯,学会健康的生活方式。二、教学原则与理念1 实行课堂教学任务化,任务生活化,评价方式过程化,以学生为主体,以话题为主线,以任务为中心。2 教学设计突出学生的主体地位,尊重学生个体差异。3 灵活使用、整合教学资源,优化教学效果。三、教学目标1.知识目标:(1)Key vocabulary:thanks to, health care, expect, require, physical, effort, once in a while, harm等有关健康生活方式的单词(2)Key patterns:Its even thought that in the future more and more people will celebrate their hundredth birthdays.It is important to eat food that is fresh and natural.(3)Key stucture:structures of different tenses.2.能力目标(1)根据图片猜测大意。(2)掌握模仿主题进行描述的技巧,练习了解文章大意,快速浏览查找细节的快速阅读技巧。3.情感目标:创造机会,鼓励学生用所学的英语知识合作交流,共同完成任务 ,使他们体验成功,激发学习英语兴趣。4.德育目标:通过本文学习增强学生健康意识,使他们明白生活中不能挑食,要珍惜粮食,养成优良的生活方式。四、教学重点掌握文章中的词汇和理解课文内容,掌握阅读的技巧。五、教学难点明白健康饮食和优良生活习惯的重要性。六、教学准备1. 教师:课件、电脑、实物(水果、蔬菜、饮料)2. 学生:课前词汇预习;健康食物、生活习惯资料收集笔录。七、教学过程:Step 1: Warming up(热身)Everyone wants to be healthy. Lets enjoy a song about health.设计思路:本篇文章主要讲述健康的生活方式,所以可以通过欣赏健康歌曲,以此引起学生对课文产生兴趣,使学生更快的进入学习状态。 Step 2: Pre-reading1.Free talk:How can we keep healthy?Possible answers: Eat well, sleep well and be in a good mood .Then Show the students beautiful pictures during the talking .The teacher can write some of them on the blackboard, especially some new phases。如:Say no to smoking,Have enough sleep,Be happy dont worry,Eat healthy food,Walk every day. 2.Look at the pictures. What do the pictures tell you?p42设计思路:(1)让学生自由谈论,复习已学的短语,满足学生表现的欲望,进一步活跃课堂气氛,调动学生积极性。(2)通过形象直观图片教学,激活旧知识,为学习新知识做铺垫。 (3)通过有趣的话题极大地激发学生的好奇心,为进入正文教学打下基础。让他们参与初步讨论,知道哪些才是健康的生活方式。Step 3: Skimming and Note-taking(速读和速记)1.Skim the title and the headings of the passage in 1 min. Now try to speak out the 5 rules for a healthy life .Eg:Get off the sofa.Eat healthy food.Rest while you can.Do not worry. Be happy.Say no to smoking.2. Read the passage and match the rules with the pictures.p42设计思路:通过有目的略读,让学生了解文章大意同时把握文章中一些细节内容,培养学生阅读技巧,通过有目的地快速浏览文章,解决一些文章中较简单直观的题目。Step 4:Scanning(审读)Read the text again; try to answer the questions below:1. What are the five rules for a healthy life according to the writer?Possible answer:The five rules are: 1. Take exercise; 2. Eat healthy food; 3. Rest and sleep when you can; 4. Dont worry; be happy; 5. Dont smoke.2. Are people today getting the same amount of exercise as they did in the past? Why? Possible answer:No, they arent. people today get less exercise because their work requires less physical effort.3. Why is it sometimes difficult to be a teenager?Possible answer:Teenagers have difficulties with school, exams and friendships.4. Who do you think the passage is written for?Possible answer:The passage is written for teenagers.设计思路:本环节通过进一步有目的的细读,培养学生提炼大意,情节捕捉,合作探究和再现阅读内容的技能,可以帮助学生更好的理解文章细节,培养做细节题目的能力,同时以竞赛的形式进行或小组合作能更进一步激发学生地主动参与。Step5:Explaining main and difficult points(释疑)Let the students work in groups and find out the difficult points. Then the teacher choose some difficulties to explain.1. Thanks to better health care, most people are living healthier and longer lives.由于有了更完善的医疗保健服务,大多数人较以往生活得更健康、更长寿。精析:thanks to相当于because of, 表示“由于,幸亏”,常带有“感谢”的感情色彩。Practice:幸亏汤姆,我找到了这么好的房子。Thanks to Tom, I found this great apartment. 2. Its even thought that in the future more and more people will celebrate their hundredth birthdays. 人们甚至预测将来会有越来越多的人庆祝他们的百岁生日。精析:Its even thought/hoped/said/ that: 人们认为/希望/说。如:Practice:Its thought that changing the plan now is impossible. 人们认为现在改变计划是不可能的。3. To keep fit, you have to walk at least 10,000 steps every day.为了保持身体健康,你每天至少应走10,000步。精析:at least “至少”, 对应词组为at most “最多”. Practice:到现在我们已经学了至少3000个单词了。We have learnt at least 3,000 words till now.我们最多能在这儿呆两天。We can stay here for two days at most. 4. Say no to smoking!拒绝吸烟!精析:这里say no/yes to表示“向说不/行 ”,即“拒绝/同意”。Practice: 你接受她的邀请了吗? Did you say yes to her invitation?他们提出的条件很好,我无法拒绝。Their offer was so good that I couldnt say no.设计思路:在限定时间内划出疑难问题,在组内讨论,互相启发,相互学习,深化对课文的理解。 教师巡查,给学生提供及时帮助,然后小组向全班陈述本组难题,教师根据各组信息反馈,通过典型例句精讲重难点,培养学生独立思考问题、解决问题的能力和合作探究精神。此环节要求学生以小组合作来完成,解决文章中存在的难点问题,以此来培养学生提出问题、解决问题的能力。 Step6: Communication and Application(交流与应用) 1.To ask the students to fill in the blanks according to the passage, then retell the story. 本步骤是语言输出阶段,引导学生个体先完成,根据所学训练运用词汇能力及整体语感。Most people are living healthier and longer now. Remember these five rules for your healthy life. First, _ the sofa. To keep fit, you have to walk at least 10,000 steps every day. Try to get _ of exercise today as people did in the past. Second, eat healthy food. Its important to eat _ food, instead of fast food. Third, rest while you can. Try to get _ every night and have enough rest at weekends. Fourth, do not worry. Be happy. When _ the difficulties of school, exams or friendships, talk with parents or teachers. Fifth, _ to smoking, for smoking is dangerous and it _ both your body and others health!2.Read the diagram and try to say something about the long life today. Give them a topic: “how to keep healthy”. 本活动可以围绕话题组织小组展开讨论,各抒己见,再集中大家智慧,综合概括。For example:To keep fit, you have to walk at least 10,000 steps every day.And its important to eat food that is fresh and naturalBesides, its important to get about eight hours sleep a nightWhen worried, talk to your parents or teacher At last, remember to say no to smoking for it harms nearly every part of your body.设计思路: 复述文章有助于培养学生语言运用能力,同时锻炼学生听说能力。话题贴近生活,可以对学习英语产生更大的兴趣,同时,通过这项活动可以充分训练学生英语综合技能,做到学以致用。Step 7:Writing 1.Read the passage in Activity 2 again. Think of one more example of what you should or should not do for each rule. P43. For example:Doctors say you should exercise for at least half an hour each day此环节要求学生在学习这篇文章的基础上,根据提示内容,结合实际,想出更多的例子。学生可以先个体再小组活动。2.Think of more rules and examples of your own. Possible answers:Take care of your friends and your family. Their happiness can make you happy.Drink water and milk most of the time. When you are thirsty, cold water is the best to drink. Milk and juice are also good choices.Limit your Screen Time. You shouldnt spend too much time in front of the TV, playing video games, watching movies or playing computer games.本活动是上一活动的延续,学生需要开动脑筋,想出更多的原则和例子,教师可以组织学生在全班范围内交流 3.Write a passage called My rules for a healthy life. Include the rules and examples you have written in Activity 5 and 6.Possible answer:Here are my rules for a healthy life. The first and most important one is to get enough rest. You must always get enough rest! If you are tired, you will not be able to concentrate properly, and you will be in a bad mood all the time. The second is to make sure that you eat properly. Make sure you eat enough rice, vegetables and meat. Stay away from fast food though, and dont overeat. The third rule is to exercise twice a week. If you dont exercise at least this much, your body will get stiff and weak. The fourth rule is to care for your friends and your family. Not only will they be happy, you will too!本活动是建立在前两个活动的基础上,写出自己的健康生活原则。设计思路:写作任务分成三步,先组内举例,班级交流,个体写作写出健康生活原则。旨在降低难度,由浅入深,循序渐进。目的是通过写的输出活动运用本课所学到的语言知识,强化书面表达能力。Step8:Homework(作业)采访父母亲戚怎么样保持健康。设计调查表,记录生活习惯,完成表格并根据采访写一份报告,在班级交流讨论。 设计思路:(1)采访类性作业需要学生查资料(充分利用好 “校校通工程”,丰富学生的知识面,增强学生查找、整合、利用资料的能力),与他人合作交流,使学生将所学英语知识用于实践,达到在用中学,学了就用的目的。(2)采访的话题总结整理成文章,可以全面检测教学效果,同时也是课堂教学的延伸。八、教后记针对上述教学设计和具体教学活动,笔者有以下几点思考:1.教师的“教”和学生的“学”的关系:教师应更多地关注如何教会学生阅读,而不是仅向学生灌输大量的语言知识。教学过程是学生在教师的帮助和指导下掌握知识和形成技能的过程。教师应让学生在活动中发挥其主体地位,让学生自己去发现问题
