摘要在二语习得及外语学习的研究中，错误的研究对于探索和发现语言习得的规律启了十分重要的作用，所以错误分析理论对于语言学习和教学有着重要的指导意义。本文以错误分析理论为基础，根据错误理论中错误分析的方法、步骤对英语专业研究生英语写作中出现错误现象进行实证分析，期望发现中国英语专业研究生在写作中所犯的错误模式。本文包括六部分：第一部分是对本文的总体介绍，包括该研究的方向，意义及主要内容。第二部分是文献总述，介绍了错误分析理论的产生和发展，以及国内外学者对错误分析理论的研究成果。发现国内学者对英语专业研究生的英语写作中出现的错误的实证研究相对较少。第三部分是阐述了本文对错误进行分析的所采用的分析方法，及研究的范围。该研究采用了语料库的研究方法，从英语专业研究生一年级学生的英语作文中随机抽取了四种不同体裁的6 0 篇英语作文。邀请了两位母语为英语的外籍老师和一位中国籍大学英语写作老师对6 0 篇作文进行了批改，并根据j a m e s 对错误分类的标准对作文中的3 8 0 个错误进行分类，他们分别是：词汇错误、形态错误、语义错误、句子错误和语篇错误。通过对各类错误的描写对其进行了分类：运用e x c e l 的统计方法计算出各类错误的类次比及在总字数中的比例。第四章详细地阐述了在错误分析理论框架下对学生作文中错误的实证性研究，具体包括预设、错误分类，错误描写及错误的研究。经过对研究发现：1 ) 词汇错误、形态错误和语义错误占很小的比重；2 ) 句子错误占很大的比重；3 ) 语篇错误比较严重，特别是语篇的衔接与连贯、不同题材的作文中信息的安排和整篇布局方面尤为突出；4 ) 汉语的影响很大。第五章调查了写作中产生错误的因素，包括母语相关因素、第二语言相关因素及教学策略的相关因素。在此基础上，本文又继续讨论了该研究对中国的英语写作教学的启示并提出了一些具体的建议。第六章是本文的结尾部分，主要叙述了本研究的局限性及对未来研究的启示。i i
