i am saying that i want to spare no effort to contribute to this great banquet.places of interestif i had a chance to visit a place ive never been to, i would like to go to imperial palace which is also called forbidden city in beijing, the capital of china.in the heart of beijing, it is the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in china, and the world at large. its construction began in 1406 and was completed 14 years later, having a history so far of some 580 years. twenty-four emperors from the ming and qing dynasties lived and ruled china from there.the reasons why i love there so much are based on the following aspects. first of all, the ancient buildings record the history path to tell us the legends of our ancestors, especially good for our young people to get familiar with our past. furthermore, they are the symbols of chinese traditional and rich culture. last, they are standing there to make us understand our past; part of it is read like “the heart out of the bosom was never given in vain; tis paid with signs aplenty and sold for endless rue. and i am two-and-twenty and oh, tis true, tis true.” i love it firstly because it tells a profound meaning within such a few words, and teaches me a concise way of writing. furthermore, every poem has its own rhythm inside of it. learning about rhythm does so great to my future because by learning rhythm we can acquire an ability of solving the problems which means you can know how to balance a trouble. last, poem is one form of arts, and i can learn how to appreciate arts by reading the poem.musicalsamong drama, comedy and musicals, i prefer musicals. the reasons why i like it best are based on the following aspects. first and foremost, i can learn how to sing some english songs. i clearly remembered the first time i saw a musical called “the sound of music”, i was so crazy about it. especially, when i was hearing those two famous songs, called “do-re-mi”, i couldnt help learning to sing it right away since the melody was so good. furthermore, since musicals are composed of four elements, which are music, songs, spoken dialogue and dance. not only can i learn those beautiful songs, but also i can learn the foreign culture by understanding those spoken dialogues. the cozy plots teach me that for a family, the most important thing is to take care of every family member with all respect and love. last thing about the greatness of musicals is that inspired by that great musical, i happen to love seeing musicals. and because of that, it offers me a great path to get close to arts.transportationwhen it comes to the most efficient transportation, i would like to say it is the inter-city train. the reasons why i hold that are based on the following aspects. first of all, unlike automobile, inter-city train never costs too much oil so that it wont cause heavy air pollution to the city; and if there is decreasing air pollution, it will ease the severe global warming to some extent. besides, it is faster than driving a car since there will be no traffic jam at all. with the time saved, we can have a nice breakfast and even feel fresh after we arrive at our office every morning. and since there is no traffic jam, it will decrease the accidents and numbers of peoples dying from the car crash.citypaintamong movie, opera and painting, i like paint best. i love paint the first time i saw a painting called “guernica” by pablo picasso; picasso explained that “the public who look at the picture must interpret the symbols as they understand them.” i love it firstly because it embodies for many the inhumanity, brutality and hopelessness of war. furthermore, every painting has its own spirit inside of it. learning about its spirit does so great to me because by learning the spirit we can enrich our emotion which means you can have a deeper feeling about human world. last, painting is one form of arts, and i can learn how to appreciate arts by it.movieamong drama, tv series and movie, i prefer movie. the reasons why i like it best are based on the following aspects. first and foremost, i can enjoy my eye feast in front the screen. i clearly remembered the first time i saw a movie called “accepted”, i was so crazy about it. especially, when it comes to the part of state accreditation hearing, i couldnt help applauding. furthermore, since movies are combined with typical scenes, i can also learn the foreign culture by understanding those spoken dialogues. the plots teach me that for schools, the most important thing is to stimulate the creativity and
