third class menu the difference is pressing data ent will save the set parameters into the control panel and then return to the second class menu with shifting to the next function code automatically while pressing prg esc will directly return to the second class menu without saving the parameters and keep staying at the current function code under the third class menu if the parameter has no flickering bit it means the function code cannot be modified the possible reasons could be 1 this function code is not modifiable parameter such as actual detected parameter operation records and so on 2 this function code is not modifiable in running status but modifiable in stop status 6 2 2 fault reset if the inverter has fault it will prompt the related fault information user can usestop rstor according terminals determined to reset the fault after fault reset the inverter is at stand by state if user does not reset the inverter when it is at fault state the inverter will be at operation protection state and can not run 6 2 3 password reset jr9000 series inverter offers password protection function when pr122 is set to be nonzero it will be the use s password and after exiting function code edit mode it will become effective after 1 minute if pressing the prg esc again to try to access the function code edit mode 8 8 8 8 8 will be displayed and the operator must input correct user s password otherwise will be unable to access it if it is necessary to cancel the password protection function just set pr122 to be zero 6 3 running state 6 3 1 power on initialization firstly the system initializes during the inverter power on and led displays jarol after the initialization is completed the inverter is in stand by status 6 3 2 stand by in running status parameters of multi status can be displayed whether or not to display this parameter can be chosen through function code pr128 running parameters according to binary bits the detailed fourteen running parameters which can be chosen to display or not they are running frequency setting frequency dc bus voltage output voltage output current output power output torque pid setting pid feedback on off input status open collector output status voltage of fv voltage of fi step number of plc and multi step speed whether or not to display can be determined by setting the corresponding bit of pr128 press the sht to scroll through the parameters in right order press data ent quick jog to scroll through the parameters in left order 6 3 4 fault jr9000 series inverter offers a variety of fault information for details see inverter faults and their troubleshooting 6 4 quick debugging mode figure 6 1 debugging flow chart jiaxing jarol scientific instrument co ltd jr9000 series products 34 6 4 1 motor parameter autotuning the procedure of motor parameter autotuning is as follows firstly choose the keypad command channel channel as the operation command channel pr001 and then input following parameters according to the actual motor parameters pr016 motor rated power pr017 motor rated frequency pr018 motor rated speed pr019 motor rated voltage pr020 motor rated current notice the motor should be uncoupled with its load otherwise the motor parameters obtained by autotuning may be not correct set pr012 to be 1 and for the detail process of motor parameter autotuning please refer to the description of function code pr012 and then press start on the keypad panel the inverter will automatically calculate following parameter of the motor pr021 motor stator resistance pr022 motor rotor resistance pr023 motor stator and rotor inductance pr024 motor stator and rotor mutual inductance pr025 motor current without load then motor autotuning is finished 6 5 trial operation 6 5 1 pre running check checking the following before running check if wire connection is correct confirm inverter output terminal u v w is not connected to power and the ground terminal is grounded well confirm therminal is no short circuit within every terminal and electricitized naked part confirm all terminals connection and joints are tight and not loose before transit power switch off all the switches to ensure inverter will not start and to avoid any uncertainty check the following after power is on no problem displayed on the key panel colling fan inside inverter is not blocked and wind goes smoothly transit power after cover is fixed don t remove the cover after power is on don t operate with wet hands to avoid jarol aussume the promotion of energy saving technology as its own task 35 6 5 2 running way check everything is ok set the inverter running data correctly after setting running data goes to trial running procedure when running on trial run inverter and motor in low frequency improve running frequency when everything is ok commonly used operation mode check the following before running motor running direction is correct motor runs smooth no screaming and vibration increase and decrease speed smoothly use key to increase frequency and continue trial running turn to formal running when everything is ok if there is any abnormal phenomenon occoured stop inverter immediately consult trouble shooting to find the problem when inverter stops terminal r s t is still with power if main circuit is not switched off any touch onto terminal u v w will get shocked besides wave filter capacitor is still full of charging voltage and need certain period of time to discharge if main circuit power is off touch inner inverter circuit voltagetested by dc circuit voltage meter is below safety voltage running wayfrequency settingrunning order key panel operation select pressstartto start stop rststop remote control potential or simulated voltage current v f control applies to the occasions on which not ask for much precision such as fans pumps one inverter can actuaing more than one motors notice the motor parameter autoruning must be taken before choose the way of vector control only with precise motor parameters can achieve the advantages of vector control and by adjusting the speed regulator parameters can get better performance function ineffective 0 20 the key and or the terminal up down function set the frequency increasing decreasing can be used to set the jr9000 inverter frequency they have the highest authority can combine with any other frequency setting channels they are primarily uesd to complete the output frequency of fine tuning inverter in control system debugging process 0 effective inverter power down store frequency can be set and after the inverter power down the set frequency is stored and can combined automaticly with current frequency after power on 1 effective inverter power down nostore frequency can be set but the set frequency won t be stored after power down 2 ineffective the frequency set by keyboard or terminal up down function will be cleared and the set will be ineffective notice the frequency is set by analog input terminal standard configuration of jr9000 series inverter provides 2 analog value input terminal the fv is for 0 10v voltage input the fi can be used to 0 10v voltage input and can also be used to 0 4 20ma current input the input can be switch between current and voltage by the wire jumper see significance of control panel wire jumper notice 20ma corresponds to the voltage of 5v when analog value fi used as 0 20ma current input the 100 0 setting in analog input corresponds to the maximum frequency and the 100 0 corresponds to maximun in reverse 4 multi speed running setting the selection of steps is determined by combination of multi step speed terminals 5 pid control setting the reference frequency is the result of pid adjustment 6 remote control combination of multifunctional input terminals the factory setting of acceleration and deceleration time is as follow 5 5kw and below 10 0s 7 5kw 55kw 20 0s 75kw and above 40 0s function code if the carrier frequency is increased it will cause better current wave less harmonic current and lower noise of motor notice the factory setting is optimal in most cases modification of this parameters is not recommended if the carrier frequency exceeds the factory setting the inverter must be derated because the highest carrier frequency will cause more switching loss higher temperature rise of inverter and stronger electromagnetic interference if the carrier frequency is lower than the factory setting it is possible to cause less output torque of motor and more harmonic current autotuning do not connect any load to the motor when performing autotuning and ensure the motor is in static status input the nameplate parameters of motor pr016 pr020 correctly before performing autotuning otherwise the parameters detected by autotuning will be incorrect it may influence the performance of inverter jiaxing jarol scientific instrument co ltd jr9000 series products 42 set the proper acceleration and deceleration time pr008 pr009 according to the motor inertia before performing autotuning otherwise it may cause over currrent and over voltage fault during autotuning set pr012 to be 1 then press the data ent led will display tun and flickers during tun is flicking press theprg escto exit autotuning press the startto start the autotuning led will display tun 0 after a few seconds the motor will start to run led will display tun 1 and run tune light will flicker after a few minutes led will display end that means the autotuning is finishing and return to the stop status during the autotuning press the stop rstwill stop the autotuning 2 static autotuning if it is difficult to disconnect the load static autotuning is recommended the operation process is the same
