After setting up a network ISO library, an administrator can create a Windows VM on a XenServer using a VM template. It is recommended that administrators install XenServer Tools onto Windows VMs. XenServer Tools includes a package to replace the initial emulated storage and network drivers with high-speed paravirtualized drivers.ObjectiveIn this lab, you will: Create a network ISO library Create a Windows VM Install XenServer toolsPre-RequisitesBefore you begin, you must have: Installed XenCenter on a Windows computer Installed XenServer on another computer Obtained the IP address from the local display of a XenServer Used XenCenter to connect to a XenServerExercise 1 Create a Network ISO library1. Go to Start Run.2. Enter c:xenserver in the Open field and click OK. C:xenserver appears. 3. Right-click the ISO directory and select Properties. The ISO Properties dialog opens.4. Click the Sharing tab and review the sharing options: Confirm Share this folder is selected.5. Click Permissions. The Permissions for ISO dialog opens.6. Confirm the group Everyone is listed in the Groups or user names list and click OK to close the Permissions for ISO dialog.7.
