Zaozhuang Technician College, authorized by the Peoples Government of Shandong province, is transformed from Zaozhuang Technical College，to give first place to cultivate preliminary and senior technician,The integration of Zaozhuang Vocational College and Zaozhuang Technician College, invested by the Peoples Government of Shandong province, is co-administrated by the provincial government and the municipal government. The college, with an area of more than 131, 200 square meters, is located in the middle of Qilianshan Road in Zaozhuang city, adjoined by Jinghu Expressway and Jingtai Expressway. The building area covers almost 200,000 square meters. Nowadays, the college has 135 experimental and training rooms and practice bases, with teaching instrument and equipment worth more than 47,000,000 Yuan. There are more than 4.1 million paper books and 1000GB electronic books in the library. The number of existing school students has reached up to 7500, and in-service staff 425 people, among them, there are 169 professors, associate-professors and researchers. Furthermore, more than 70 percent professional teachers are double-certificated teachers, and many teachers have been awarded “National May. 1 Labor Medal”, “Fu Min Xing Lu Labor Medal”, (“Labor Medal for a Richer Shandong”) ,“ Ten Labor Stars of Shandong Province”, “Chief Technicians of Shandong Province”, “ Outstanding Young Scientific Talents of Shandong Province”. “ Technical Skill masters of Shandong Province”, etc. The college offers 31 vocational majors and more than 20 technician majors including electromechanical integration technology, auto detection and maintenance, applied chemical technology, tourism management, stomatology, nursing, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, and Animation Design and Production, etc. Among them, the majors of tourism management and electromechanical integration technology have been the majors supported especially by central finance The three majors “Numerical Control Technology” , “Tourism Management ”and “stomatology ”are awarded the characteristic majors by provincial department of education, the two majors of mechanical equipment&maintenance and “Numerical Control Technology” are honored as famous and key majors by provincial department of personnel and social security. The mechanical and electrical majors are established provincial exemplary majors group plus 18 provincial excellent courses.The college takes serving the regional economic development as an objective, adheres to the teaching ideas that “ Moral and Ability Develop Simultaneously; Learning and doing merge into an Organic Whole; Win-win Cooperation; and Develop Uniquely”. Not only do we actively build the “work-study combination mode” which is characterized by “multi-stage and multi-cycle” in cultivating talents, but also the teaching mode that curriculum design-situated; theory and practice integrated; teaching process programmed and the evaluation methods dynamical administration. On the other hand, we pay attention to strengthen the students vocational abilities, promote their overall qualities, which aims to cultivate high-quality and high-skilled talents for regional economy and social development who are able to endure hardship, be in charge of something and start a business.
