However, the evening makes it all worthwhile.翻译划线部分_worthwhile=deserving the effort needed,the time or money spent,etc.意思是_,表示“值得花精力(时间、金钱等等), makes it all worthwhile 中worthwhile 充当宾语补足语。观察思考归纳总结: 做某事是值得的 常见句型有:1 It didnt seem worthwhile writing it all out again.1_2 It might be worthwhile to write it all out again.2_复习巩固:我还记得“某事值得一做”的句型有:_.翻译:这部电影很值得一看。(分别用worth 和worthwhile翻译)1_.2_.4 respect 观察思考:1 We should understand and respect the life of these aninals.2 They show respect for their teachers. 归纳总结: respect在句1)中词性是_词, 意思是“_”, 在句2)中词性是_词, show respect for sb_, 意思是_.1每个人都应该得到尊重。_2 我们应该表达对母亲的尊重。_5 inspire inspire v =encourage n _ 观察思考:归纳总结:1 She inspires those who want to cheer the achievements of women.vt激励某人_, 2 Miss Zheng inspires her students to study harder for a better future.激励某人做某事_3 He is greatly inspired by Yao Ming. adj. 受激励_4 Yao Mings success is inspiring.adj.激励人心的_巩固运用:(分别用主动语态和被动语态翻译)父母亲的举动大大激励了他们发愤读英语。1_.2_.6 argue 观察思考:1)The couple next door are always arguing with each other about/over their children. 2)The basketball player got into an argument with the coach about his decision. 分析:1)为某事与某人争吵或争辩:_ _2) argument 词性是_ 词,意思是_, (可数还是不可数?)=disgreement/quarrel, 与某人发生争吵、争执_翻译: 我不想和你争吵关于那场篮球赛的事。_ Step 5 Important phrases. (C级)(观察、思考、运用)lead a life live a life表示“过着的生活”, lead的过去式和过去分词为_ _1 My parents are retired and now lead a quiet life.2 Madame Curie led a simple life. 翻译:我们正过着忙碌但多姿多彩的生活。_.Step 6 Sentence pattern:(C级)(观察、思考、运用)翻译:我们通过这种方式可以学好英语。_比较:Only in this way can we learn English well. 只有通过这种方式我们才能学好英语。划线部分是only+状语,放在句首,目的是强调或突出状语,意思是“只有才”, 句子的语序由原来的We can learn English well in this way变成了 Only in this way can we learn English well. 把情态动词前提到主语的前面,这就叫做主谓倒装。观察:She was allowed to begin her project only after her mother came to help her for the first few months. 这句话也可以这样表达Only after her mother came to help her for the first few months was she allowed to begin her project.划线部分是_ 从句,only+状语从句放句_时, 主句的主语和谓语的位置发生变化,从原来的she was allowed to begin变成了_。 把助动词do、does 或did /系动词be 或着情态动词 提到主语前面,这样的句子就叫做倒装句。学以致用:1)Only when I failed in the final examination last term _ the importance of studies. A. I realized B. I had realized C. had I realized D. did I realize2)只有在他父亲死后,他才意识到他父亲是多么地爱他。_realize how much his father loved him. (有能力的同学用本课所学的单词,短语或句型自己编故事Try !
