Follow up with each plant to turn the Yellow/Red item to Green Support a specific program outbound readiness requested by Program Management team Collect vehicle network base data from each market and verify it is provided in correct format to support Global Vehicle Distribution System (GVDS) project Upload base data into GVDS modules for on time launchIf you want to be the next generation leaders youll need: Master degree, major in Transportation and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Vehicle Engineer and/or science related field Fluent in both oral and written English Good at Excel, Access, Power point, Word Personality Excellent communication skill Good analytical skill and logical thinking Demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level Internship experience in auto industry is preferred Financial skills Working location: Nanjing1vs2的面试,一个是技术工程师,一个是hr,全程用英语面试。刚开始让我自我介绍,但他们一直没打断我,我都不知道说什么的时候问他们还想知道什么,他们也没仔细听,好像是在看简历,说你随便讲,讲你想讲的。这下我就没捞住,啪啦啪啦又说了一通,直到我开始讲我参与什么项目为止被打断了。后来就进入了面试的主题,技术工程师问我几个问题。1,你为什么想在福特工作?我是有预料的,但是说的太坦白了。我说我缺少工作经验,一方面福特是国际知名公司,有很高的知名度,完善的培训机制,舒适的工作环境以及满意的薪水(现在想来这句话不该说,诚实应该有限度的)。2,你对福特了解多少?这个问题我也是准备的,但不充分。噼里啪啦说了一些福特的个人传记,就哑火了。Hr又问,还有呢?我傻傻的加了句:做汽车的。Hr又问,那你能列举写福特的车型吗?我彻底崩溃了,这方面实在懂的不多,连蒙迪欧这样车我都不确定是不是福特的。这点我做的很不好,去一个公司面试的时候,至少知道人家做哪些产品,客户群是什么,要切记3,你对车有什么了解?我说有底盘,有轮胎,有方向盘(这是我觉得整个面试总最2的答案,出来之后恍然大悟,应该说有控制系统,制动系统,传动系统,变速系统等等,而且都容易用英语说出来,这才像一个机械的学生说的话)。然后技术工程师追问,控制系统中有哪些元件?我简单的说是传感器以及反馈装置什么(真的不懂,就乱说了,这里也埋下了个杯具)4,你用过哪些传感器?我说没用过什么传感器,但都略知一二。技术工程师追问举例子。我说位移、温度、应力等等传感器。然后他又让我讲下温度传感器的原理。我就讲了热电偶的测温原理,也不知道对不对。5,讲讲你最大的缺点。这也是预料之中的,我说我的精力不是很集中,容易被外界干扰,对外界的反应比较强烈。然后hr把我的意思引申为自控能力很差。指着我的简历说为什么简历上还写着self-discipline。当时有点慌,但很快也反应过来了,自律能力不能量化的,我心目中的自律水平我还没达到,相对于一般自律水平来说我已经达到了,但离我的要求还有距离。6,你的导师知道你暑期实习的事情吗?这个问题是我最大的问题,回答太老实了。我说还他老人家不知道,我想在我拿到internship之后再去跟老板商量。技术工程师反应比较强烈,先是说我这样不好,有点对公司和对导师都dishonest。然后我解释了(也没必要的其实)下。7,hr问我简历上a man with belief是指什么?我就把乔布什的三个故事讲了下,hr好像还蛮满意的。8,你还有什么问题?我问了他们对我今天表现觉得如何?还有我的简历有什么不足的地方。我拿出了一个本子记录,他们觉得我这个习惯很好(其实也谈不到习惯,我今天面试也只是想涨点经验,这个的确对我比较重要)。Hr说我沟通能力不错,比较aggressive,又跟我解释aggressive不是贬义的,但觉得不够成熟(可能整个过程我讲的比较多,他们说的少,有点太显摆),尤其是在self-discipline这方面有待加强。简历做的有点仓促没有什么鲜明的特点,不是很吸引人。技术工程师说什么我不记得了,因为他的口语我不怎么听的懂,有点北方人的腔调。出来之后别的组已经面试第三个了,我们组的急死了。1,面试前一定要对要面试的公司相对深入了解下,知道下企业文化,公司的产品,客户群,你面试的职位是做什么的,对你有什么要求2,自身素质,尽管我不是车辆那方面的学生,但一些基本知识如车的构架也应该知道一些,一问什么都不知道的话,有点说不过去。机械的面试之前也要翻一番机械原理,机械设计,液压气压以及相关的英文表达。3,诚实的底线。不说不代表说谎,说了不对的话就是说谎,你可以不说,但不要说假话。4,简历要做的重点突出,hr特地指出我的简历不够吸引人,可以再修改。真的很感谢她。5,关于导师的意见。我应该说老板很支持我参加暑期实习,他一直担心我工作的问题。这个应该可以回避下hr提出的问题。6,适度的收敛些。这次面试挺尴尬,我不说话就好像冷场了,一冷场我就紧张,所以我就不停的说啊讲的,给人感觉childish,也过于有些aggressive。7,英语讲的太快了,这个习惯不好。技术工程师可能没怎么听懂我说的什么,就噼里啪啦的讲,下次面试语速要更加慢些,发音要清晰一些。明天GE的面试,希望不要再犯同样愚蠢的错误。福特历史:Henry Fords first attempt at a car company under his own name was the Henry Ford Company on November 3, 1901. During its early years, the company produced just a few cars a day. Groups of two or three men worked on each car, assembling it from parts made mostly by supplier companies contracting for Ford. Within a decade the company would lead the world in the expansion and refinement of the assembly line concept; and Ford soon brought much of the part production in-house in a vertical integration that seemed a better path for the era.Henry Ford was 40 years old when he founded the Ford Motor Company, which would go on to become one of the worlds largest and most profitable companies, as well as being one to survive the Great Depression. In 1908 Ford introduced the first engine with a removable cylinder head, in the Model T. In 1930, Ford introduced the Model A, the first car with safety glass in the windshield .Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932.Ford offered the Lifeguard safety package from 1956, which included such innovations as a standard deep-dish steering wheel, optional front, and, for the first time in a car, rear seatbelts, and an optional padded dash. Ford introduced child-proof door locks into its products in 1957, and in the same year offered the first retractable hardtop on a mass-produced six-seater car. The Ford Mustang was introduced in 1964. In 1965 Ford introduced the seat belt reminder light.With the 1980s, Ford introduced several highly successful vehicles around the world. In 1990 and 1994 respectively, Ford also acquired Jaguar Cars and Aston Martin. During the late 1990s, Ford continued to sell large numbers of vehicles, in a booming American economy with a soaring stock market and low fuel prices.By 2005, both Ford and GMs corporate bonds had been downgraded to junk status, as a result of high U.S. health care costs for an aging workforce, soaring gasoline prices, eroding market share, and an over dependence on declining SUV sales. In the latter half of 2005, Chairman Bill Ford asked newly appointed Ford Americas Division President Mark Fields to develop a plan to return the company to profitability. Fields previewed the Plan, named The Way Forward, at the December 7, 2005 board meeting of the company and it was unveiled to the public on January 23, 2006. The Way Forward included resizing the company to match market realities, dropping some unprofitable and inefficient models, consolidating production lines, closing 14 factories and cutting 30,000 jobs.Ford moved to introduce a range of new vehicles, including Crossover SUVs built on unibody car platforms, rather than more body-on-frame chassis. In developing the hybrid electric powertrain technologies for the Ford Escape Hybrid SUV, Ford licensed similar Toyota hybrid technologies to avoid patent infringements. Ford announced that it will team up with electricity supply company Southern California Edison (SCE) to examine the future of plug-in hybrids in terms of how home and vehicle energy systems will work with the electrical grid. Under the multi-million-dollar, multi-year project, Ford will convert a demonstration fleet of Ford Escape Hybrids into plug-in hybrids, and SCE will evaluate how the vehicles might interact with the home and the utilitys electrical grid. Some of the vehicles will be evaluated in typical customer settings, according to Ford.Ford and the United Auto Workers, representing approximately 46,000 hourly workers in North America, agreed to a historic contract settlement in November 2007 giving the company a substantial break in terms of its ongoing retiree health care costs and other economic issues. The agreement included the establishment of a company-funded, independently run Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association (VEBA) trust to shift the burden of retiree health care from the companys books, thereby improving its balance sheet. This arrangement took effect on January 1, 2010. The automaker reported the largest annual loss in company history in 2006 of $12.7 billion,and estimated that it would not return to profitability until 2009.However, Ford surprised Wall Street in the second quarter of 2007 by posting a $750 million profit. Despite the gains, the company finished the year with a $2.7 billion loss, largely attributed to finance restructuring at Volvo.During November 2008, Ford, together with Chrysler and General Motors, sought government bridge loans at Congressional hearings in Washington, D.C
